Before switching to Procure to Pay, Westdale managed invoices the old-fashioned way. “We were pushing paper from Florida to Atlanta, from Atlanta to Dallas,” said Robert Delgado, director of financial systems and learning at Westdale Asset Management. “It wasn’t efficient.”

Now his team handles residential and commercial portfolios with a digital-first approach. “The goal was to get rid of paper processes, save on postage and cut down on the time it takes to pay vendors,” Delgado said. “Yardi made it easy. It’s very easy to use and train our team.”

Better workflows & functionality

Bell Partners also benefits from streamlined invoice approvals and real-time data, all within Yardi Voyager. “We really enjoy Procure to Pay for the workflows,” said Matt Moncrief, director of enterprise solutions. “I love the feature that lets you approve invoices from your email. That’s great for our executives who are always on the go.”

Automated alerts and reporting keep Bell Partners team members accountable and get vendors paid on time. “Our users must process invoices in a timely manner, and we have reporting and alerts to ensure that happens,” said Moncrief.

Both companies are using more than just the basics. Bell Partners relies on tools like delegation and full-service invoicing to simplify tasks and avoid bottlenecks. “The delegation feature is so robust,” said Moncrief. “People don’t always realize how much you can do with it.”

With everything in one system, both companies are seeing measurable improvements. “We have it easy because it’s all in Yardi,” said Delgado.
