Bell Partners and Westdale Asset Management are making accounts payable more efficient with Yardi Procure to Pay, a connected solution that automates invoice processing and vendor payments from start to finish. Bell Partners, a national apartment investment and management firm based in Greensboro, North Carolina, and Dallas-based Westdale Asset Management, a real estate investment and property management company with a diverse portfolio across the U.S., saved time, reduced costs and improved vendor relationships by eliminating paper and embracing AP automation.
Replacing manual processes with automation
Before switching to Procure to Pay, Westdale managed invoices the old-fashioned way. “We were pushing paper from Florida to Atlanta, from Atlanta to Dallas,” said Robert Delgado, director of financial systems and learning at Westdale Asset Management. “It wasn’t efficient.”
Now his team handles residential and commercial portfolios with a digital-first approach. “The goal was to get rid of paper processes, save on postage and cut down on the time it takes to pay vendors,” Delgado said. “Yardi made it easy. It’s very easy to use and train our team.”

Automated alerts and reporting keep Bell Partners team members accountable and get vendors paid on time. “Our users must process invoices in a timely manner, and we have reporting and alerts to ensure that happens,” said Moncrief.
Both companies are using more than just the basics. Bell Partners relies on tools like delegation and full-service invoicing to simplify tasks and avoid bottlenecks. “The delegation feature is so robust,” said Moncrief. “People don’t always realize how much you can do with it.”
