Providence Place stays united with the Yardi Senior Living Suite

Providence Place client success video

At Providence Place Senior Living, a three-person accounting team supports seven communities across memory care and assisted living. To keep operations running smoothly, they needed a more connected way to access and share information. With the Yardi Senior Living Suite  — including Voyager Senior Housing, Procure to Pay, PayScan and RentCafe Senior Living Portal — Providence Place improved efficiency and streamlined reporting. They also connected financial operations with a resident and family communication portal.

In this video interview, part of The heart of innovation series, Marianne Denlinger, CFO of Providence Place Senior Living, shares how integrated systems help unify teams, improve reporting and strengthen family connection with communities.

How Providence Place stays efficient with integrated operations

At Providence Place, the Yardi Senior Living Suite helps teams work more efficiently and gives leadership faster access to the information they need.

“One of the biggest things we loved is how integrated Yardi is,” Denlinger said.

With connected systems in place, Providence Place can streamline invoice approvals, accelerate month-end closing processes and provide operators with consolidated reporting across communities.

Providence Place uses the Yardi Senior Living Suite to:

  • Give operators faster access to consolidated, comparative financial reporting
  • Bring new properties into the portfolio with a consistent, uniform system
  • Create and send custom reports to financing lenders
  • Streamline invoice approvals with mobile PayScan workflows
  • Improve family transparency and engagement with RentCafe Senior Living Portal

“Yardi’s helped us with efficiency in closing and just in general being able to capture the data more efficiently,” Denlinger said.

“They really feel connected”

For Providence Place, integration goes beyond internal operations. Families can use the resident portal to pay bills online, view real-time statements and stay informed about announcements, events and activities happening in the community. (They’ll even know if mom got that scheduled haircut.)

“They really feel connected,” Denlinger said. That connection is especially meaningful for family members who live far away and want reassurance about what’s happening on a daily basis.

Integrated operations for community staff make their jobs easier, and they can share relevant data through the resident and family portal. “It really unifies all of the groups that work together,” Denlinger said.
