Hearing directly from our clients helps us stay connected to what matters. Their stories help us continue improving the Yardi Senior Living Suite. And they offer valuable insight for senior living professionals across the industry.
For the end of 2025, we’re shining a spotlight on standout stories from Brightwater Senior Living, The Bristal Assisted Living, Harmony Senior Services and Brightview Senior Living. Each offers firsthand insight into how technology supports their work.
Watch the videos for a closer look at the experiences of senior living leaders. Hear the perspectives of a CEO, a COO, a CFO, a director of sales enablement and an IT systems manager.
Brightwater streamlines operations & speeds up decisions
President and CEO Quintin King shares how Brightwater Senior Living gets faster access to accurate data. Brightwater used to rely on separate systems and slow, manual reports. Now they can see important information for each community — and the entire portfolio — much more quickly in one connected system.
King values being able to view trends and dashboards right away. Reports that once took days now take hours, and sometimes only minutes. With fewer manual steps and one place to find information, staff can spend less time on paperwork and more time supporting residents.
He also notes that having everything integrated makes daily tasks simpler. “I don’t have to worry about different systems talking back and forth, working with different providers,” he said.
The Bristal unifies finance & simplifies reporting
C-suite leaders from The Bristal Assisted Living share two video testimonies about how moving to a single connected platform helped them improve performance across their entire portfolio. They explain that they once relied on separate systems for operations, care and finance, which made reporting slow and required manual effort. Today, real-time data gives community operators and leaders the information they need right away, helping them respond faster and make more confident decisions.
Amy Silva-Magalhaes, chief operating officer, highlights that having “everything under one platform” helps staff work more efficiently.
Customized reports show exactly what each community needs to track — whether that’s occupancy, care delivery or financial performance — and everything flows through one source of truth.
Eileen Rainer, chief financial officer, explains that financial information is now consistent and accessible: “Whether it’s cash, financials or wages — we have it all in one place.”
With everything under one system, teams no longer juggle multiple charts of accounts, vendor lists or duplicate records. Because “we can slice and dice data across different portfolios and regions,” she said staff can respond quickly to unique requests from internal stakeholders and partners.
Harmony Senior Services centralizes data across sales, care & billing
Tonya Ballard, director of sales enablement at Harmony Senior Services, explains how using multiple systems slowed down Harmony’s teams and led to errors. Information was stored in different places, and staff often had to manually reconcile records to ensure accuracy. This created extra work and made it harder to keep processes moving smoothly.
By moving to an integrated platform that includes CRM, clinical tools, billing and leasing, Harmony now keeps all resident information in one connected system. Data flows seamlessly from the first inquiry to move-in, care delivery and billing. “It’s made us more efficient, and it’s easier for the community as a whole,” she said.
Ballard shares that staff across sales, clinical care and finance now benefit from having timely, accurate information. Sales teams can quickly review lead activity. Clinical staff get complete resident records. And the billing department can confirm that charges match actual care provided. It all adds up to a smoother experience for both employees and residents.
Brightview improves medication safety with unified data
Carol Downey, IT systems manager at Brightview Senior Living, explains that medication information used to be spread across different systems. Their electronic Medication Administration Record (eMAR) system and resident profiles weren’t connected, which meant staff often had to reconcile records by hand. This created extra work and increased the chances of making mistakes.
After they moved to an integrated platform that connects eMAR with their community management system, Brightview now places pharmacy orders directly into each resident’s profile. That eliminates third-party tools, automates reporting and keeps records current.
“Once we implemented Yardi eMAR, we had zero med errors,” Downey said.
Downey also shares that Brightview appreciates the flexibility of the connected Voyager Senior Housing system and the support that comes with it. Teams can adjust tools to fit their workflows and rely on support when they need custom configuration. Together, these improvements help Brightview deliver safer, more consistent care across all communities.
