Yardi Scholars Program expands opportunities in U.S. & Canada

Yardi Corporate Philanthropy team members promote education and career opportunities at universities in the U.S. and Canada as they crisscross the continent for the Yardi Scholars Program.

Yardi team members recently visited more than 25 institutions, including Georgia State University, Cal State Channel Islands, the University of Texas and Toronto Metropolitan University. They engaged students and officials in conversations about academics, mentorship, workloads, career goals and life after graduation while offering insight into Yardi culture and career opportunities.

Corporate Partner of the Year

At Cal State Fullerton, Yardi was honored as Corporate Partner of the Year. “Your drive, resilience and commitment to excellence remind us why supporting students is one of the most meaningful things we can do. We are proud of you and excited to follow your journeys,” Kian Khoddam, a Yardi associate CSD director, told Yardi Scholars at the university.

The conversations with students and university partners “offer meaningful insight into the student experience and reinforce the importance of listening and staying closely connected to our scholars throughout the academic year,” said Sarah Bridich, director of corporate philanthropy for Yardi.

Where we help

The Yardi Scholars program initially focused on providing need-based college scholarships to students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities. In 2023, the program expanded to encompass more than 20 additional colleges and universities and established a clear focus on supporting first-generation college students.

“The corporate philanthropy team is grateful to our university partners and Yardi colleagues for helping Scholars feel supported every step of the way. Together we are creating a shared investment in student success,” Bridich said.
