Pillars of the Industry

The National Association obroadstone clubhousef Home Builders (NAHB) is now accepting applications for its annual Pillars of the Industry Awards competition, the most prestigious award of its kind.

Since 1990, NAHB has issued Pillars of the Industry Awards to the most outstanding leaders and innovative thinkers in the multifamily industry. Now is your chance to be recognized for your contributions to the industry, from design and development to innovative financing strategies and management. Participants may submit their applications in five primary groups:

Developer Award Categories
Marketing Award Categories
Individual Award Categories 
Development Firm Award Category
Property Management Company Award

Eligible applicants include multifamily owners and developers, architects, property managers, and other multifamily industry professionals. Applications are due on June 23, 2014. The application fee is $295 for NAHB Members and $395 for non-members. Forms must be submitted to nahb.org/pillarsawards. NAHB has honored Yardi client Alliance Residential with several Pillars of the Industry awards for its exemplary multifamily properties. Last year, the fully integrated real estate operating company won the award for Best Mid-Rise Apartment for Icis, a collaboration with TCA Architects. villas at icisAlliance Residential also received the award for Best Clubhouse at a Multifamily Community for Broadstone North Boca Village, a collaboration with MSA Architects. The 11,000-square-foot clubhouse offers a diverse array of community activities.  Physical and social health take center stage at the clubhouse which boasts classes on the latest dance and fitness crazes, state-of-the-art equipment, and a full-fledged boxing ring. The on-site movie theater offers a 10-foot screen. Residents can joy also enjoy community cooking demonstration in the gourmet kitchen or use the space to entertain personal guests. Outside of the clubhouse, residents can practice on the putting green, stroll multiple gardens, and relax in the expansive resort-inspired pool with cabanas.

Both Broadstone North Boca Village and The Villas at ICIS (left) were finalists for Best Rental Apartment Community (Non-garden, Five Stories or Less). Broadstone North Boca Village was also a finalist for Best Multifamily Community Site Plan.
