As expectations for speed and responsiveness rise, progress depends on how well we use technology to serve people. In the senior living industry, operators are seeking tools that deliver data quickly, securely and intelligently.

Harmony Senior Services found that centralized data is the key to efficiency. With the Yardi Senior Living Suite, they connected all their processes for seamless data flow and accessible reports.

In this testimonial video, Tonya Ballard, director of sales enablement, describes how Harmony achieved full data integration across departments to support sales, financial and clinical teams. Read the highlights below or watch the video now.

Challenges of disparate data

The previous senior living operations software that Harmony used didn’t have everything in one system. Staff had to go to the external sources to bring data in, which was time consuming — especially to fix errors.

“There were huge data inconsistencies and lack of verification of data being put into the system,” Ballard explained.

Now all the data from prospect to billing is in one place.

“All the data feeds from Senior CRM where the prospect comes in, over to the clinical side, over to the billing side,” she said. “It’s made us more efficient, and it’s easier for the community as a whole.”

Harmony is also using electronic leasing so “we don’t have to worry about paper copies floating around.”

Positive feedback from sales, financial & clinical teams

Ballard said she has heard really good feedback across Harmony Senior Services departments and communities.

Real-time insights for the sales team

“On the sales side, they love having the data tools and reporting right there,” she said. “They can see the life cycle. They can see the sources that are working best for them.”

Aligned care & billing teams

“On the financial side, we can see the actual versus recommended billing. We’re coming straight from clinical, the assessment, over to the billing side. When we’re giving the residents the care they need, we can also make sure we’re billing them appropriately.”
