Senior living census management gets harder every time a resident moves in, changes apartments or moves out. When resident records and apartment tracking fall out of step, your team spends time reconciling records instead of acting on what they know.
Inspiren and Yardi EHR joined forces to make it easier for communities to keep resident information aligned with move-ins, room changes and move-outs. Providers have more confidence that Inspiren insights about anticipated risks and falls are associated with the right resident.
Bringing Yardi & Inspiren together for a more complete picture of resident care
Resident information changes daily, and the systems that hold it rarely change at the same pace.
Every move-in, apartment change and move-out affects care teams, records and daily routines across the community. Historically, one system held the record while another tracked what happened in the apartment. When teams spend their time reconciling the two instead of acting on what they show, friction creeps into workflows and care delivery.
Inspiren and Yardi are closing that gap, starting with apartment occupancy.
How the connection works
Yardi EHR is the health record behind a connected care team and resident intelligence experience. It keeps resident health records accurate and up to date, so care teams can spend their time with residents instead of chasing down information. Inspiren is the unified ecosystem that translates what’s happening across a community into actionable clinical insight, combining AI-powered awareness with a dedicated Clinical Success Team of RNs and PTs.
Today, apartment occupancy status flows from Yardi to Inspiren, keeping Inspiren devices aligned with resident move-ins and outs. The integration automatically syncs resident census data from Yardi EHR to Inspiren each day, including key data points like resident name and room assignment. This foundational context ensures every alert and insight is tied to the right resident.
The bigger picture: Connected technology
Senior living operators now rely on many specialized technologies, each valuable on its own. The next opportunity is getting them to work together. When systems stay separate, the cost shows up as duplicate data entry, records that tell different stories and care teams who spend more time reconciling data than delivering care.
When systems share information, those gaps start to close. Technology becomes part of the care workflow instead of one more thing to maintain and the information teams need arrives in the system they already use.
“Our customers want technology that fits the way their teams already work,” said Fil Southerland, director of healthcare solutions for Yardi. “Connecting Yardi EHR with Inspiren helps the people caring for residents to have accurate information in front of them without extra steps.”
What’s next
Today, apartment occupancy syncs from Yardi to Inspiren, but that’s just the beginning.
Next, the connection will grow from the apartment to the full picture of care. Resident and apartment information will stay aligned between Yardi and Inspiren automatically, so teams aren’t updating two systems. Important events, like validated falls and eCall activity, will flow into Yardi for clinical review. Care documentation completed in the Inspiren Mobile App will sync back as well, giving teams a more complete view of the care each resident receives.
With data moving in both directions, the two systems can support a more complete resident record, providing better results for care teams and residents.
