YASC San Diego 2026, the biggest-ever Yardi Advanced Solutions Conference, brought together roughly 6,500 attendees from about 1,200 real estate organizations and Yardi experts for three days to exchange ideas, explore updates on products that are shaping the future of property management, build long-term relationships and enjoy social events, including a live performance by The Killers.
Yardi Vice President Esther Bonardi launched the YASC General Session by welcoming clients to San Diego, after which CEO Rob Teel took the stage to present a clear message: Building better solutions starts with listening to the clients who will use them every day.
Teel shared Yardi’s vision for the future, with Virtuoso as the brand for its AI capabilities and Virtuoso Enterprise bringing them together as the “easy button” for clients asking how to get started with AI. He also positioned Voyager 8 and a single source of accounting truth as the center of all capabilities.
Every operational action, transaction and AI automation updates the general ledger in real time, without needing manual reconciliation or spreadsheets.

- AI lease abstraction for commercial portfolios
- CRM IQ with AI for multifamily leasing teams
- Maintenance IQ for AI-assisted video inspections
- AI invoice processing
- Virtuoso Assistant, which answers employee questions about completing tasks in Voyager

Teel highlighted AI’s impact to date. For example, Chat IQ handles about 1 million conversations a month with prospects and residents. Meanwhile, Virtuoso Assistant engages in 600,000 conversations with clients’ employees about completing tasks in Voyager. Yardi also processes about 1.5 million invoices monthly with AI assistance, and the company’s employees use AI to help resolve client support cases.
Teel cited a large property management company that uses Yardi’s AI capabilities across leasing, payments and invoice processing. Results include:
- 76% more lead-to-tour conversions
- 32% less average lead-to-lease time
- 2% increase in on-time rent payments
- 86% less time spent processing invoices
- 92% employee chat request resolutions
How AI agents work
Next, Yardi President Akshai Rao demonstrated how AI agents can handle multiple tasks simultaneously, helping teams complete complex workflows so they can focus on higher-value work.
He outlined the four tests every agent flow has to clear before it ships:
- Does it add value by saving team time, increasing NOI or reducing risk?
- Is it easy to start, with no multi-month implementation?
- Does it show its work so that every action is auditable?
- Does it keep a human in the loop, with a person approving or rejecting each decision?
Four agents in production include an invoice approval agent that builds rules from a client’s own approval and rejection history. It currently clears 40-50% of invoices falling under client-set thresholds. Meanwhile, a Yardi Marketplace agent reads work orders and builds carts from the client’s existing punchout catalogs and supplier contracts, showing which products it considered and why it ruled them out. A third category comprising fraud agents surface transaction anomalies with a stated severity and confidence level. And a lease audit agent compares what is charged to a resident each month against the lease document and surfaces discrepancies for a human to approve or reject.
Rao also noted that Yardi PayScan processes about 75 million invoice approvals a year, representing roughly $1.5 trillion in payables.
Virtuoso Intelligence: A chat-first way to work in Voyager
Teel and Rao previewed Virtuoso Intelligence, a conversational interface built on top of Voyager data. Unlike a general-purpose AI tool, it operates inside Yardi’s permission structure, so users can only reach the properties and objects they are already authorized to see.
Virtuoso Intelligence lets users drill from a chat response into the underlying Voyager record, write to the database by creating or editing work orders and approving invoices, and invoke Virtuoso agents directly. It also draws on a client’s own Aspire content, so it can answer policy and procedure questions — how to enter a journal entry, who to contact in a given situation — and show where in Aspire the answer came from. Users can also generate their own dashboards and share them within existing permission boundaries.
Rollout begins with select clients in Q4 2026, with broader availability expected in spring 2027. A mobile app is planned.
Both executives framed it as an additional interface rather than a replacement. As Teel put it, a cockpit does not make the pilot ask for the altitude — it displays it. Transactional screens and dashboards are not going away.

Kevin Yardi, senior vice president of global solutions, reinforced another important theme: The lasting relationships Yardi builds with clients, employees and communities remain central to the company’s success. He noted that Yardi’s average client relationship is 13.8 years while the average Yardi employee has been with the company about 11 years. At the management level, average tenure approaches 17 years. Kevin Yardi also noted that the company has never had a layoff in its 45-year history, and has told its 10,500 employees that AI will not change that.
Highlighting the company’s community commitment, Kevin Yardi pointed to the environment, homelessness and humanitarian organizations that the company supports around the world. Employees at Yardi’s 40 global offices vote annually on the nonprofits their local budgets support. The company funds about 500 nonprofits a year.
Through the Yardi Scholars program, Yardi covers four years of tuition assistance for first-generation university students at about 30 partner state universities, with roughly 300 scholars today and a goal of 1,000. In Pune, India, where Yardi has operated for 25 years and employs 2,500 people, a 60-person CSR team reaches about 1 million people.

Memorable moments beyond the classroom
Of course, YASC is about more than just the learning agenda.
