Senior CRM momentum builds at YASC 2025

At YASC 2025 in San Diego, the RentCafe Senior CRM team delivered energetic sessions full of innovation and collaboration. From feature reveals to roadmap insights, the excitement in the room was just the beginning. The client services team is bringing the momentum on the road this fall, fueled by client feedback. The first stop on the Senior CRM Road Show next month is Atlanta.

Senior living providers of all sizes are looking for ways to transform their occupancy strategy, streamline leasing and better serve residents. At YASC, the Senior CRM team showcased how the latest innovations support those goals. Read on for a quick recap and a look at what’s next.

Senior CRM new features

Candace Seidle, manager for consulting practices and an all-around expert in Senior CRM, unveiled the newest features. Here are just a few of the exciting updates for our clients to simplify workflows and deliver stronger results:

  • Improve prospect tracking: Access referral activity linked to prospects for clarity and tracking of ROI.
  • Link events directly to their lead sources with the event dashboard: Manage events, send invitations and track responses with analytic reporting and clear source attribution. Build templates to power a strong marketing plan that includes cost information and schedule planning tasks.
  • Gain complete visibility into prospect engagement: Use the Yardi digital partner integration to access analytics for each prospect profile.
  • Optimize leasing workflows: Pull in EHR recommendations and add rentable items. Manage concessions and incentives with built-in permissions, approvals and reporting.
  • Initiate deposits directly from Senior CRM: Collect deposits securely and get prospects registered in the RentCafe Senior Living Portal from the initial deposit.
  • See everything across teams on a move-in readiness dashboard: Use the power of the Yardi Senior Living Suite single stack to stay compliant and gain efficiency across departments.

Product roadmap & focus group

Ram Shanbhag, senior director on the senior living development team, joined Seidle for a session on the Senior CRM product roadmap and a client focus group.

Seidle shared innovations that are coming soon and encouraged feedback on what clients are looking for in future releases. 

“The energy in the room was electric,” said Kristine Schrudder, senior consultant. “We loved hearing about the new features and taking requests for product enhancements from our clients.” 

Senior CRM clients were excited about updates including:

  • Additional points of support for outstanding customer service and opportunities to partner with the client services team
  • Call summary and call transcription 
  • Enhanced user interface and UX design

Future enhancements discussed include:

  • Updates to the occupancy dashboard to drill down into more detail
  • Status for “marketing only” leads that require nurturing without triggering sales actions
  • An improved RentCafe Senior Living Portal experience for residents

The workshop also included an exclusive demo of Yardi Virtuoso, showing how to use it for call scoring and rewriting messages with AI.

The client services team also announced the Senior CRM Road Show at YASC. Sales leaders, CMOs and integration partners will come together to share, learn and level up their skills at events across North America.
