Your guide to the Senior Living Executive Conference (SLEC)

Your guide to the Argentum Senior Living Executive Conference (SLEC)

The Senior Living Executive Conference (SLEC) 2026 is nearly here, the annual meeting of Argentum, the national trade association serving companies that own, operate and support professionally managed senior living communities. Thousands of professionals gather in Nashville this month, and our senior living team is excited to be a part of it.

You can find us throughout the May 18-20 event, in the expo hall at booth 801, at a May 19 session on CRM and AI and always ready for discussion on the latest innovations in senior living technology.

Here’s everything you need to know about what we have planned for this year’s event.

About Argentum & SLEC

Argentum’s members represent approximately 75% of the professionally managed communities in the senior living industry. As the official annual meeting for the organization, SLEC is a must-attend annual gathering for senior living professionals. It offers the chance to connect with the leaders of today, discuss the challenges facing the industry and help shape what the future looks like.

According to Argentum, no matter your role, you’ll find relevant sessions and education tracks designed for you. This year’s theme is “Better Living is Better Business,” with sessions built around real challenges facing the industry.

Our Tuesday session: How CRM & AI transform the buyer journey

On Tuesday, May 19, two operators will share how they tackled the challenges that hold back so many senior living organizations: fragmented systems, inconsistent sales performance and the inability to show clear results to ownership. By connecting CRM and AI-driven sales and marketing tools, they transformed how prospects were engaged and measured across the buyer journey. The results include higher lead-to-move-in conversion, stronger alignment between sales and marketing, and clear board-level reporting on marketing and sales effectiveness.

Session details

  • Title: From Data Silos to Revenue Growth: How CRM & AI Are Transforming the Senior Living Buyer Journey
  • Date: May 19
  • Time: 2:30-3:15 p.m.
  • Location: Room 209 AB
  • Updates: Check the SLEC agenda for the latest information on time and location.

The session walks through the full senior living buyer journey — from first inquiry to move-in — and explores what operators can do at each stage to improve conversion. Topics include how to build a CRM foundation that supports consistent sales processes, how AI amplifies those results with smart targeting and predictive insights, and how to create attribution reporting that connects marketing spend to revenue.

You’ll leave with a clearer picture of:

  • Why most operators are flying blind when data is locked in silos
  • Why the senior living sales cycle is longer than many operators realize
  • Why the post-tour phase is where conversions are won or lost
  • How CRM data can travel with the prospect to the sales team
  • How CRM and AI address different parts of the problem

The session brings together a range of perspectives from across the industry, including Kristine Schrudder from Yardi, Amanda Warren from Merrill Gardens and Justin Harden from Phoenix Senior Living.
