Real estate investor and property manager gains improved reporting, better workflows, powerful budgeting and automated invoice processing from Yardi’s most advanced property management and accounting platform
SANTA BARBARA, Calif., Nov. 22, 2016 – Vancouver-based property owner and manager Wesgroup Properties recently decided they were ready to move to a Web-based property management and accounting platform. Wesgroup, a longtime Yardi® client, didn’t have to look far. The company chose Yardi Voyager® 7S, a browser-agnostic Software as a Service platform.
“We wanted innovation and efficiency,” explained Sandeep Manak, Wesgroup’s chief financial officer. “We wanted a platform that integrated various departments so they could work more collaboratively. Further, as a cloud-based platform, Voyager 7S reduces our IT infrastructure costs. Improved reporting also provides better insight into performance and risks, and that helps us make better business decisions more quickly,” Manak said.
Wesgroup also intends to move forward with adding the Yardi Advanced Budgeting & Forecasting™ and Yardi PAYscan™ solutions. Yardi Advanced Budgeting & Forecasting will allow the company to make long-term revenue forecasts, giving management better insight into balance sheets and income statement risks three, five or even 10 years into the future. Wesgroup will use Yardi PAYscan to store invoice images electronically and automate the invoice approval workflow and vendor payment process.
