Renters can now say “Alexa, ask RentCafe to
pay my rent”
SANTA BARBARA, July
30, 2019 – Yardi®, a
leading provider of property management software, is integrating with Amazon
Alexa to support the use of digital assistants in rental units across the
country. The new RentCafe
Resident Services Alexa Skill
makes it easy for renters to check account balances, pay rent, submit
maintenance requests and reserve amenities using only their voice.
Renters can
enable the skill through the Alexa Skills Store or through the Alexa App. After
linking their RENTCafé account they can simply say “Alexa, open RentCafe”
on their Alexa-enabled device to access a host of services. Paying rent through
the skill is as easy as just asking. After setting up a voice code, renters can
say “Alexa, ask RentCafe to pay my rent” to send payment.
