- We had been missing a lot of points before, and with Yardi we were able to close the gap on what we needed technology-wise. It's been very good for us. It's definitely brought us from the dark ages to where we are now, and it's also been very helpful in technology. (logo whooshing) (gentle music) (logo whooshing) My name is Paul Mastio. I'm the CFO of Stirling Properties. (gentle upbeat music) My history with Yardi has been since 2010 when we first implemented. We first started on our own system and finally moved over to Voyager 7S on the cloud. Biggest functionality was recoveries and renewals. We were lagging behind on getting our renewals done. We were lagging behind on figuring out what options tenants had. So, with Yardi, we were able to get that done pretty well. That's definitely streamlined the process and given us a history we didn't have before. Whenever we do anything in Excel, you lose the history. With Yardi, we have history in the database, so we can always go back and look at what we've done. With Yardi being on the cloud, especially during COVID, it helped us. Everybody could work from home really quick. We didn't have any problems. It was a quick, easy transition from somebody being in the office to going home. And it was not only that, you know, switching from more development focus to a property management focus, the tools were there, so it was quite easy to add a lot of third-party business and just enter it into Yardi and just move forward really quick. (gentle upbeat music) It's been a really good relationship this far, and seeing Yardi's plan for the future makes me feel a lot more comfortable about the future, makes me feel better that my people are gonna be able to keep up with the technology, my people are gonna be able, you know, be happier about what they're doing because they have the technology in front of them to do a good job, and because everybody cares about what they're doing.
