- Yardi's a partner, and I think that these are people that are honest and I want to be in business with people that are honest. We are fully supportive and feel like we are heard and we enjoy our relationship with, you know, everyone at Yardi. (upbeat music) I'm Seth Pesek. I'm the president of Phoenix Senior Living based in Roswell, Georgia. We wanted to streamline as many of our processes as possible using technology, getting the manual error, get the manual time spent out of the process, having full transparency into our processes. And the thing that's always at the forefront of that is technology and how we can save our residents, our residents' families, our associates time, and give them back time in their day. We went from having zero invoices submitted through Vendor Cafe, the day one, to where now we've had over 6,000 invoices submitted. When you look at all the hours that we've saved, it's actually 19 40-hour work weeks that we've eliminated from our ecosystem on time spent. So our vendors, they can log in at any point in time and know exactly where it is in our process of approval and whether it's been paid or not. We're no longer sending checks out. We're paying them electronically through EFT, and we use Yardi to take the money outta the account. Now we have daily bank recs that just automatically happen. We've saved 13 40-hour work weeks with the number of accountants that we've had. I can pull a report from Yardi every day and know that I've got good numbers. Our motto and that we have adopted loosely is that we want to have more hands in hands instead of hands on keyboards. Our teams in the communities can actually spend more time with our residents and not have to worry so much about the back office needs. I have a partner in this journey. I believe in the company, and I believe in the people, and then I believe in the product. And more importantly, the company and the people. (upbeat music)
