- We do a lot of construction management as a means to help reposition properties for the clients that we have. We come in and kind of like try to save the day, so to speak, and help them get things back on track. And so having a solid, known, consistent database of information is really how that works. And the Yardi platform helps us do that. (bright music) I'm Elliott Westerman, Chief Financial Officer for 12 Oaks Senior Living. I primarily lead the finance and accounting group. As a third-party manager, we have a lot of different owners that we work with. And in some cases, they have a lot of different needs. Anytime you're trying to grow as a company, it's good to have consistency of information and systems. When we talk to people about new business opportunities or becoming our client, we say, "Look, this is the systems we have. This is how we do things. These are the kind of reports you're gonna get. This is the kind of communication you should expect." This is our baseline understanding of how we engage with things, especially from a financial perspective. Yardi help us provide a consistent platform that we can report from and uses for reporting, analysis, and communication with owners across all different levels of understanding. It enhances our dialogue with them because they're more engaged with the data and the financial information. And then, we can help refine and clarify their understanding of things. We are continuing to integrate new systems and processes and the new Yardi add-ons as they come out, including Senior IQ, Elevate. It certainly creates the platform from where we can grow.
