- We were really looking to take the burden off of our teams, so whether it's the time saving aspect or ensuring compliance, those were the reasons that we chose Yardi. They really take that whole process off of our site teams. (gentle music) I'm Abby Diller. I'm with MRD Apartments. I'm the Executive Director of Operations. We have over 12,000 units in 11 states, and we're still growing. We were really seeing the gamut of human errors, fraud being prevalent within our application processing, so we have seen a dramatic decrease in all of those areas since we've incorporated the ScreeningWorks Pro Suite. Not only do we save time from not having to log into multiple systems, but we get the automation piece, which is a huge time saver for our teams on site. We get the consistency across the board of how our properties are screening for verification of income and identity verification. We have seen a reduction in our delinquencies by over 1%. And then on top of that, we have prevented 5% of our applications coming in with potential fraud. Those impacts are huge. Obviously, the delinquency has a giant impact on our financials. And then on the application processing, that 5% of fraud applications that were prevented are applications that we could have been evicting later on, adding to our bad debt and our overall expenses.
