- Our number one goal was to make it seamless for our residents, prospective residents, and for our employees. Yardi was just the number one choice. Everything is integrated. It's one system. They're not having to log into multiple systems. They're not having to do any manual entry on our team side. I am Abby Diller. I'm with MRD Apartments. I'm the executive director of operations. A little bit about MRD apartments. We have over 12,000 units in 11 states, and we're still growing. We're actively building properties this day. Just like many companies, we were facing many challenges when it came to insurance, whether it was participation or just making it seamless and easy for our customers and for our employees. Participation was low. Before our teams were spending a lot of manual time tracking down insurance policies from third party providers. Now, with Yardi, it's an entirely seamless process. Our residents can sign up through online leasing, and then because of that, our participation has risen dramatically. ResidentShield has absolutely provided an avenue for us to meet our participation and adoption goals for insurance. One other challenge that we were having in the past when it came to renters insurance is the claims process. And I can tell you that since we've transitioned to ResidentShield, that claims process, which used to be a burden on our corporate team here, is easy breezy. It is literally a seamless process in sending in claims and then working with the claims department.
