- Yardi, it's the industry-leading software. So it is the platform to be on if you're looking for scalability and growth. And we knew that. (bright music) (logo whooshing) My name is Lauren Ticak. I've been with Brookfield for seven years. We are scattered throughout the United States. In 2024, we expanded our footprint into Canada. We currently manage 42,000 units. We had a very, very disjointed platform. There was a lot of gaps in the technology because we couldn't get one location to get all the data coming in. We were very disjointed between departments, so our accounting and finance was on one platform. Operations was on another platform. It was critical for scalability and growth. One of the largest benefits is that we could reduce the cost, and also the support and management. And that was super important to us because Brookfield is very transactional. So like we are constantly looking at the next portfolio to buy, and we have to be able to onboard those properties and operate them like instantly on the day of close with like a 30 day due diligence and a 30 day close. So with the move to Yardi, all the little gaps that we had in the process, we would have to fill with a point solution. And we reduced our point solutions by, I think it was like 18 point solutions that we got rid of. I definitely feel like we're being heard. When we raise our hand and we're like, "We need help," we get quick responses, and we have the right team being assigned to it. Client Central is extremely helpful having it right there in the platform, we have never had that set up before from like a support standpoint. We also wanna sign up for like, you know, to be the early adopters and beta testing and things like that so we can kind of partner with you guys to enhance the product. (logo whooshing) (gentle music)
