- Since we've been using Aspire, there has been significant time saved and redirected to other things, like follow up with other prospects to try to get more leases, or attend to their residence. (upbeat music) My name is Alisa Yates, and I work at Westdale Asset Management. Westdale Asset Management owns and manages over 950 employees at about 150 communities. In Aspire, we use single sign-on with YardiOne, which takes away all of the difficulties with users for getting their logins and their passwords, which is a big time saver for us in managing and helping those learners. Aspire has made management of our learning system easier through the live training attendance. That saves us around four to five hours a week of tracking attendance. In our last 12 live training classes, we've had 92% attendance. We also have live training where our learners can sign up for one-on-one training sessions for topics specific to their needs. When we do those through the live training in Aspire, it automatically tracks their attendance, and attaches that record to their transcript within Aspire. We see a benefit in building some of our courses custom. For example, our month end closeout procedure is very specific, so we felt like it would be great to have our own custom course that outlines not only how to perform it, but incorporate what our policies are, and procedures are around that particular topic. Additionally, with the Yardi software courses, we're not spending all of the time developing them from scratch. Instead, they're automatically updated regularly. The Yardi software courses have the step-by-step software simulation, which is amazing for learners. So instead of just watching a demonstration, it actually brings the learner into the course, and makes it more interactive. There are many authoring tools that are available. For example, all of the options with quizzes, questions that are more interactive versus just checking a box, how you could record voice recordings on your course content right within Aspire, rather than having to upload videos every single time you wanted to convey something within the course. Aspire helps us ensure that all of our employees are trained based on their position. So for example, our maintenance staff, as they're hired, they are assigned a learning plan with relevant courses based on their position. During our rollout and onboarding of Aspire, we really appreciated the support that we received from the team at Aspire. They walked us through everything step by step on a schedule where we felt comfortable, we were not overwhelmed with the process at all, and everything went very smoothly. (upbeat music)
