The benefits
E&S Ring consolidated more than 10 third-party systems into one platform, cut technology costs by 8%, eliminated data discrepancies and gave staff a single, consistent interface, all within 10 months of implementation.
The company
E&S Ring Management Corporation manages more than 7,000 apartment homes across Southern California. Running a portfolio of that scale requires systems that work together cleanly; where property management, accounting, leasing, vendor management and reporting share data without friction. For years, E&S Ring had built those connections through integrations with more than 10 third-party tools layered on top of their Yardi platform. It worked, but the complexity had a cost: staff training took longer, data lived in multiple places and the overhead of managing so many systems added up.
The challenge
Too many systems & the hidden cost of fragmentation
E&S Ring had been a Yardi client for years, but over time they had integrated more than 10 third-party systems alongside their core platform to fill specific functional gaps. Each system served a purpose, but together they created significant operational friction. Staff had to navigate multiple interfaces to complete routine tasks, which complicated onboarding and slowed day-to-day workflows. Data lived in different places, which led to inconsistencies that undermined confidence in reporting. And the cumulative cost of licensing, integrating and maintaining all those systems added unnecessary overhead. The patchwork worked, but it was far from effortless.
The solution
Yardi Multifamily
After evaluating the market, E&S Ring made the decision to consolidate fully onto the Yardi Multifamily Suite, retiring more than 10 third-party integrations in favor of one connected platform. Functions that had previously required separate tools, including CRM, vendor management, invoice processing and payment workflows, moved into a single suite where data flows consistently across every module. With one system of record, staff work from a single interface, train on one platform and trust that the information they see is accurate and up to date. The transition eliminated redundancy and replaced the complexity of a multi-system stack with a single, effortless point of entry.
The story
One platform, simplified operations
Within 10 months of implementation, E&S Ring had simplified operations in ways that were visible across the organization. Before the transition, staff juggled more than 10 separate systems, switching between platforms to complete tasks, reconcile data and manage day-to-day work. After consolidating onto the Yardi Multifamily Suite, employees had one interface for everything. That single point of entry made training faster and more consistent: new staff learned one system rather than many, and experienced employees spent less time context-switching between tools. Kevin Hott, Vice President of Information Systems and Technology, described the impact plainly, one platform, one way in, and measurably greater efficiency as a result.
One source of truth & 8% in cost savings
Consolidating onto a single platform resolved a persistent data accuracy problem that had come with running multiple systems. When information lived in more than 10 places, inconsistencies were inevitable and difficult to trace. With all data now housed in one system, E&S Ring’s team could trust what they were looking at: enabling faster, more confident decisions across the portfolio. The financial impact was equally tangible: within 10 months, E&S Ring achieved an 8% reduction in technology costs by eliminating the licensing and maintenance overhead of their previous third-party stack. The connected suite didn’t just simplify how staff worked; it made the entire operation more cost-effective.
