  • 2023 | ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year Sustained Excellence Award

    Yardi® is honored to receive the 2023 ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year Sustained Excellence Award from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Department of Energy after being named Partner of the Year for five consecutive years.

    The award celebrates companies that offer energy services and products in the commercial, institutional or industrial markets for successfully assisting clients with strategic energy management and building design. Partner of the Year award winners have made a long-term commitment to fighting climate change and promoting public health through energy efficiency messaging. 

  • 2022 | Proptech Company of the Year

    The National LIS Awards named Yardi the Proptech Company of the Year for Yardi Breeze Premier. The award was given at the National Landlord Investment Show, the United Kingdom’s leading landlord and property investment exhibition.

  • 2022 | Forbes Cloud 100

    Yardi has been named for the seventh time to the Forbes Cloud 100, the definitive list of the top 100 private cloud companies in the world. Yardi was a member of the inaugural Cloud 100 in 2016 and is number 51 in 2022. Forbes Inc. created the list in recognition that cloud computing is transforming how companies do business. Yardi debuted on the Forbes Cloud 100 list in 2016 as the sole real estate software company alongside firms leading the way in IT security, data analytics, file sharing and more.

    Yardi has been awarded the ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year Sustained Excellence award, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s highest level of recognition for four consecutive years of winning Partner of the Year. The award recognizes companies for their commitment to fighting climate change and protecting public health through energy efficiency. In 2021, Yardi used ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager® to benchmark the energy use of buildings in eight countries, spanning four continents, and submitted 26 new ENERGY STAR® building certifications.

    The EPA commended Yardi and the other ENERGY STAR Award winners as leaders in addressing the climate crisis and moving toward a clean energy economy.

  • 2020 | Glassdoor “Best Places to Work”

    Yardi has again been honored with the Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Award recognizing the Best Places to Work. This year, Yardi ranks No. 53 on the list of Top U.S. Large Companies. The Employees’ Choice Awards program relies solely on the input of employees who provide anonymous feedback on their jobs, work environments and companies via Glassdoor, a popular job rating and review site.

    The Best Places to Work list was determined using company reviews shared by U.S.-based employees. The final list is compiled based on Glassdoor’s proprietary algorithm and considers quantity, quality and consistency of reviews.

    The ICSC Middle East and North Africa Shopping Centre Awards, regarded to be one of the biggest industry accolades in the Middle East & North Africa region, recognise the region’s most innovative shopping centres and retailers for outstanding achievement in retail, retail store design, design and development, and marketing.

    Anant Yardi, founder and CEO of Yardi, was named to a prestigious list of the nation’s top corporate leaders by employer review website Glassdoor. Mr. Yardi received a Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Award recognizing the Highest Rated CEOs for 2017 and again in 2018.

    This ranking is based solely on the anonymous and voluntary opinions offered by users of the Glassdoor platform. The U.S. Large Company category includes firms with more than 1,000 employees. Ratings were compiled during a one-year window. Glassdoor is one of the world’s largest and fastest growing job sites, with tens of millions of reviews of over 700,000 companies in 190 countries.

  • 2017 | Property Management Software Provider of the Year in the UK

    Yardi was proud to accept the Property Management Software Provider of the Year award at the Property Week All-Star Management Awards, which took place at the Grosvenor Hotel in London in November. Yardi was on hand to collect the award recognizing the company as Property Management Software Provider of the Year in the United Kingdom.

    Yardi would also like to congratulate several clients that received awards during the evening, including LIV Group, awarded the BTR/PRS Operator of the Year, and GVA, which was named Property Financial Advisory of the Year.

    Realcomm Commercial Real Estate Digital Innovation (Digie) Awards are presented annually to groundbreaking commercial real estate companies, individuals and solution providers.

    • Yardi Voyager 7S, our flagship property management system, won the 2014 Realcomm Digie award in the Real Estate Technology Innovation category.
    • Yardi Commercial LeasingPad (since renamed to Yardi Leasing Manager), an end-to-end mobile leasing and tenant support solution, received the 2013 Digie for Most Innovative Technology in the Real Estate Technology Innovation category.
    • Yardi Orion Business Intelligence was recognized with the 2012 Digie in the Real Estate Technology Innovation category as “a groundbreaking concept that promises an unprecedented level of integration”.
    • Yardi was honored with a 2009 Digie in the Best Use of Technology — Real Estate Transaction category for our collaboration with Cushman & Wakefield. The award cited Yardi’s leadership in the development of software solutions for the global exchange of real estate data and contributions to business process automation.
    • In 2008, Yardi subsidiaries rCash and SiteStuff, and partners Cambridge Solutions and Bank of America, earned the Best Technology — Real Estate Transaction award for pioneering an integrated procurement and invoice processing system that helps promote sustainability for their client CB Richard Ellis.
  • 2016 | NAA Lifetime Achievement Award

    On November 11, 2016, Anant Yardi, founder and president of Yardi Systems, was presented the Lifetime Achievement Award by the National Apartment Association (NAA). The Lifetime Achievement Award is, in the words of NAA chairman Marc Ross, the organization’s “most prestigious honor”, awarded to “members with a long history of exemplary national service to the apartment industry.” Mr. Yardi is only the third person ever to receive this recognition.

  • 2016 | Insights Success 10 Fastest Growing Cloud Solution Providers

    Yardi Systems was profiled as one of the 10 Fastest Growing Cloud Solution Provider Companies in the December 2016 issue of Insights Success. The article discussed the advances Yardi has made in over 30 years of technology development, moving from one of the first DOS property management and accounting software products to the industry-leading provider of a diversified and integrated selection of cloud and mobile technology options for the real estate management community.

  • 2016 | NAREE Best Web Site: Gold Winner

    The National Association of Real Estate Editors (NAREE) recognized Multi-Housing News, Yardi’s online real estate publication focused on the multifamily industry, with a Gold award for “Best Web Site”. This honor came as part of the NAREE 66th Annual Journalism Awards, established to recognize excellence in reporting, writing, and editing stories about residential and commercial real estate. Yardi acquired Multi-Housing News and its sister publication Commercial Property Executive in 2009.

  • 2016 | NREI/IMN Commercial Real Estate Award, Technology Provider: Innovation—Facilities & Property Management

    National Real Estate Investor (NREI) and Information Management Network (IMN) recognized Yardi Systems for the Yardi Smart Energy Suite energy procurement and management products. The award honors outstanding achievements over the past 12 months by real estate organizations for innovation, disruption, social responsibility, and outstanding service.

  • 2016 | CSUCI Business Leader of the Year Award

    California State University Channel Islands (CSUCI) recognized Yardi Systems as Business Leader of the Year at their 12th Annual Business & Technology Partnership Leadership event, which honors local businesses and technology partners alongside outstanding CSUCI faculty and students.

  • 2016 | South Coast Business and Technology Awards: Executive of the Year

    Yardi Executive Vice President Gordon Morrell was named 2016 Executive of the Year at the South Coast Business and Technology Awards. The awards recognize individuals and companies who have demonstrated extraordinary commitment to ensuring the economic vitality of the South Coast of Santa Barbara County.

  • 2016 | Pacific Coast Business Times Business Hall of Fame

    In May of 2016, Anant Yardi became the 15th inductee in the Pacific Coast Business Times Hall of Fame, in recognition of his longstanding contributions to the software industry and his leadership of Yardi Systems. Watch a brief history of Anant Yardi and Yardi Systems, created by the Pacific Coast Business Times to celebrate the induction of Anant into their Business Hall of Fame.

  • 2015 | Inside Self-Storage (ISS) Best of Business: Best Technology Innovation

    Yardi won Best Technology Innovation in the ISS Best of Business category for its industry-leading self storage software solutions for small owners and management firms to the largest operators. The ISS poll invites self storage professionals to nominate their favorite products and service suppliers, and Yardi has emerged as the clear winner with its Yardi Genesis2, Store Enterprise and Store Advantage cloud-based applications. As the future of self storage management, Genesis2 delivers a powerful solution in a single database with unprecedented capabilities and add-on products, including integrated workflows, dashboards, online portals and payment processing to help self storage operators run their businesses more efficiently.

  • 2012 | ALFA Best of the Best Awards, Technology Adoption Category

    Yardi and Pathway Senior Living were awarded an Assisted Living Federation of America (ALFA) Best of the Best Award for developing technology to significantly simplify and automate management of Medicaid billing for Pathway communities offering a Medicaid option. Medicaid billing and coding is a complex process, and the Yardi/Pathway Medicaid billing solution reduces the amount of time and effort applied to this function and provides a greater assurance of accuracy across state Medicaid programs. The ALFA Best of the Best awards recognize innovative new programs and services that are creating the future of senior living. Awards are given in eight categories of operational excellence; both senior living provider companies and companies offering products and services to senior living communities are eligible.

    The Realcomm Top 35 People to Watch list identifies those people who are at the intersection of commercial real estate, corporate real estate, and technology and have demonstrated a willingness to go the extra length. Criteria for the award include 21st-century vision, persistence, patience, and willingness to fail. Recipients are recognized for achievements in enhancing the tenant experience, automating buildings, promoting paperless transactions and fostering efficient, flexible, sustainable and reusable design.

  • 2010 | Inman News Top 100 Most Influential Real Estate Leaders List

    In 2010, company CEO and Founder Anant Yardi, and Senior Vice President of Point2 Saul Klein, were named to the prestigious Inman Top 100 List in the Technology category. The Inman 100 Most Influential Real Estate Leaders List recognizes individuals whose “ingenuity, strength, conviction, power and persistence are driving change” in the real estate industry”.

  • 2009 | Realcomm Digital Impact Award

    Past Awards: 2004

    Part of the prestigious Digie Awards, this honor is presented to “outstanding individuals who have consistently demonstrated tenacity and persistence in promoting technological innovation in our industry”.

    • 2009: Brad Setser, Vice President of Marketing, earned a Digital Impact Award citing his tireless focus on relevant industry solutions and customer satisfaction, his consistent promotion of industry innovation, and his devotion to raising the bar of industry practices.
    • 2004: Anant Yardi, CEO & Founder, received the Digital Impact Award praising him as “visionary in respect to automation systems and the resultant benefits in property operations”.
  • 2007 | South Coast Business and Technology Awards: Entrepreneur of the Year

    Anant Yardi was named 2007 Entrepreneur of the Year by the South Coast Business and Technology Awards committee for his demonstrated success with outstanding entrepreneurship, innovation and leadership in the fields of business and technology. The South Coast Business and Technology Awards were inaugurated in 1995 to “honor individuals and companies who have demonstrated extraordinary commitment to ensuring the economic vitality of the South Coast of Santa Barbara County”.

  • 2006 | NAHMA Membership Recruitment Award

    Past Awards: 2005

    In both 2005 and 2006, Mark Livanec, Director of Affordable Housing and PHA Sales, was awarded the National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA) Membership Recruitment Award for his recruiting achievements. This award is given annually to a NAHMA member who leads in new-member recruitment for the previous 12-month period. This awards program honors individual lifetime achievement, outstanding individual leadership in several categories, and outstanding partnership organizations.

  • 2016 | MITS Professional Appreciation Award

    The award was presented to outstanding individuals from companies participating in the Multifamily Information and Transactions Standards (MITS) initiative. The MITS initiative is an internationally recognized data standards effort to support systems integration, information management, and automated data exchange for the multifamily housing industry. Award recipients are honored for their “leadership in, and commitment to, the development and implementation of apartment industry data standards”.

  • 2004 | Multi-Housing News Hall of Fame

    For several years, Multi-Housing News (MHN) released an annual list of the “Dozen Who Make a Difference” — key figures who have had the greatest impact on the real estate industry over the past year. In 2004, MHN introduced its Hall of Fame listing, reserved for those figures who have “shaped the industry in a profound way, not just for one year or five, but for a decade or more”. That year, Anant Yardi, Founder and CEO of Yardi Systems, Inc., was inducted into the MHN Hall of Fame as one of the individuals who have had the greatest continuing impact on the real estate industry.
