The challenge
Before implementing Yardi Aspire, Hyder relied heavily on face-to-face meetings for staff training and onboarding. As the company expanded, coordinating schedules across multiple regions became increasingly difficult. The pace of growth made it nearly impossible to maintain consistent, in-person training for every new hire and department.

The story
Hyder adopted Yardi Aspire to centralize training and compliance management across the company. The system allowed the team to host large virtual sessions, track completion and ensure consistent knowledge across departments.
“The ability to train multiple people at one time and record sessions for those who can’t attend is a huge game changer,” said Crystil Haas, director of compliance and technical compliance. “Everyone stays on the same page.”
Yardi Aspire also integrates with Hyder’s HR processes, ensuring that every employee completes required courses such as accounting, compliance and operations before stepping foot on a property.
Results
Since rolling out Aspire, Hyder has improved efficiency and reduced the time and cost of training. Employees can now access learning materials anytime, while managers gain visibility into progress and compliance.
Although the team is still gathering measurable data, Haas said the company already sees savings in travel costs and scheduling time. “Having one central location for training has been fantastic for us,” she said.
Beyond training, Hyder’s technical compliance department uses Yardi software to connect accounting, compliance and operations on one platform. This level of centralization makes it easier for Hyder to generate comprehensive reports for owners and investors. “What you can measure, you can make better,” said Haas, quoting her CEO. “Yardi has been huge in helping us measure and improve every part of our business.”
