SANTA BARBARA, CALIF., May 13, 2013— Yardi announced today that the city of Albuquerque, N.M., will adopt Yardi Voyager™ for Government as its property management and accounting platform.
The city will use Yardi Voyager to manage such operations as maintenance, revenues and expenses at approximately 500 properties for which it serves as landlord or tenant. The properties encompass all commercial property types, including industrial, office and retail. The city will also use Yardi Voyager to manage maintenance and concessions at its parks and recreation department.
As software-as-a-service (SaaS), Yardi Voyager is provided to clients within one of three SaaS environment options: SaaS, SaaS Select or Private Cloud. Albuquerque selected the SaaS Select option, which allows the city to control its adoption of upgrades, new releases and plug-ins.
“We anticipate that Voyager’s automation, workflows, and analytics will help us make better use of our physical space and staff resources,” said Danny Nevarez, project manager for the city. “We were using paper and filing cabinets for our record-keeping, so this is a big step in our technology evolution.”
