Streamlining Compliance Reports
Adopting Yardi Voyager has enabled AMC to improve its reporting capabilities for compliance with affordable housing subsidy programs. “Yardi has a good reputation for keeping up to date with requirements from HUD, which is very important to us,” said Calderon. “For example, we do all TRACS reporting within Voyager, which saves a lot of time and data transfer processing. The data we submit through TRACS determines whether we receive money from HUD each month, so it’s extremely important that Voyager streamlines this reporting interface,” said Stephani Calederon, corporate vice president for AMC.
Gaining Web-Based Flexibilty AMC’s history with Yardi dates back to 2002 when the organization adopted Yardi Voyager. AMC sought a mobile solution to improve access for its regional userbase. AMC has since upgraded to Yardi Voyager 7S, the newest web-based version of Voyager. “Mobility makes it possible to log in to Voyager from any of our sites,” said Calderon.
Mobile access also benefits AMC’s maintenance staff. “It’s easy to track maintenance requests online in Voyager. Generating work orders online is much faster than writing work orders with handwritten notes and status updates,” said Calderon.
