SANTA BARBARA, CALIF., Nov. 29, 2010 – Yardi Systems announced today that Martin Levkus, general manager of Yardi EBS Utility Billing™, has been appointed as a director of the Utility Management and Conservation Association. UMCA is a leading trade association that promotes utility conservation and cost management in the multifamily housing industry.
Levkus will direct 14 years of technology experience in multifamily and utility management toward UMCA’s initiatives. Among other projects, he will help prepare UMCA’s research database — which will soon include an innovative library of regulatory and compliance information at the federal, state and county levels — and upgrade the organization’s website. Levkus joins three directors and four officers in UMCA’s leadership echelon.
