SANTA BARBARA, CALIF., Feb. 09, 2011 – Yardi announced today that Sealy & Company LLC has adopted the Yardi Commercial Suite™ and the Yardi Investment Suite™ to manage its portfolio, which comprises 20 million square feet of industrial properties in six states.
Sealy previously used various technology platforms and outsourcing partners for budgeting and forecasting, job costing, invoice processing, payment processing, capital management and tracking, valuations and business intelligence. In executing an initiative to improve efficiency, the company sought a single-platform solution from a provider dedicated to real estate asset management.
Sealy will replace its existing invoice workflow processing system with Yardi Commercial Suite product Yardi PAYscan™. Sealy’s tenants will be provided Yardi Portal™ to make payments and initiate work orders online. Yardi Portal will also give Sealy’s properties a valuable Web presence for marketing property availability in real time by dynamically linking to Yardi Voyager™.
Sealy will replace several unconnected investment management modules with the Yardi Investment Suite. “Most of what we need is right out of the box. Yardi PortfolioVMF™ will streamline our property valuation and analysis process by integrating our property and lease data more directly. Our investors can receive real-time information on demand via the Internet with Portal,” said Mark Sealy, president of Sealy.
