Emboss has positioned itself as an independent portfolio asset manager, sitting between the Investors and their local Property Managers. Operating from existing offices in Sydney, Hong Kong and Tokyo with further offices planned for Singapore and Shanghai in the near future, it seeks to overlay the Yardi Voyager system to provide absolute transparency across the platform.
With a management team comprising of real estate professionals with extensive regional experience from groups such as Macquarie, New Star Asset Management, AIG and PwC, the group seeks to deliver strategic level asset and investment management, with a mandate focusing on those countries where it has a demonstrable local platform.
The company chose Yardi as their real estate investment and asset management platform after intense analysis of available systems that could manage the flow of capital from outsourced property managers through to the investors themselves. Emboss wanted a single system that could manage both the property and fund level accounting in a single depositary, therefore maximizing data integrity and providing an ability for real-time reporting to our clients.
