Century Group’s transformation began with a new 243-unit lease-up, which prompted the need for a more efficient leasing model. Previously, each application required in-person meetings, paper forms and multiple follow-ups. By adopting RentCafe’s CRM and prospect portal, ID Verify and Yardi Resident Screening, the team eliminated redundant steps and standardized the process across properties.

Applications are now submitted fully online and scored automatically based on Century Group’s criteria. The team receives complete applicant information, including credit checks and identity verification, without the need for manual intervention. This not only reduced leasing touchpoints from eight to one but also helped filter out unqualified applications early in the process.
