How Othrys Centralised Management of its Commercial Portfolio & Saved 70% of Time with Yardi

Yardi sat down with Othrys to see how Yardi Voyager has helped the company manage its portfolio of shopping malls, retail parks, offices and logistics warehouses in France with a single platform.

About Othrys

“Rooted in a strong entrepreneurial culture, our ambition is to combine the financial performance of our real estate investments and a sustainable contribution to the development of the local economy.”

Founded in 2013, Othrys is an independent investment company specialising in operational real estate. Its portfolio includes 128 real estate assets, mainly logistics and light industrial warehouses, retail parks, and shopping centres in France.

The Challenge

Othrys originally relied on multiple systems and spreadsheets, which became challenging to centralise invoices and store information. Reporting and extractions had also become time-consuming due to large Excel files and manual processes. Due to this, two to three dunning campaigns per month would take a considerable amount of time and prevent quick follow-ups or traceability. The company needed a solution that would consolidate its data, remove manual tasks and help the team save time.

The Solution

Othrys implemented Yardi Voyager for commercial property management. It provides a central platform for managing the entire business lifecycle, including operational, financial, leasing, and maintenance activities, from a single database. With Yardi Voyager, Othrys has removed manual processing, enabling easier, faster and more accurate reporting. The reporting features have allowed the team to export data more efficiently, thus saving 80% of time on invoicing, 50% on bill payments, and 50% on direct debits, collections, and processes.

“Yardi is an interdepartmental solution that centralises operational management and data. The PM team at Othrys has increased its productivity. The availability and accuracy of information give the team real peace of mind during audits with the external auditors.”

The Hidden Costs of Running Investment Operations Across Multiple Systems

Most real estate investment firms build their technology stack the same way: one problem at a time. A property management system comes first, then an investor portal, then a debt tracker, with spreadsheets filling every gap in between. The cost of this setup stays hidden because no one tracks it as a single number. For a […]
