Over 17-18 September, Yardi hosted the Yardi Advanced Solutions Conference in Sydney, Australia. This is the largest training opportunity offered to clients in the Australia and New Zealand region, and with close to 300 guests attending, connecting with industry peers, and learning about new products and updated functionality – it was officially the Biggest YASC Ever!

The event kicked off with a 45-minute talk by Kevin Yardi, Vice President, and Neal Gemassmer, Vice President. Reflecting on the company’s development history and looking toward the future, the focus was on new lines of product development that Yardi has underway to help its clients meet their real estate and investment goals. The opening session gave an in-depth insight into the future product roadmap for the Australian and New Zealand market.

Since 1984, at Yardi, our mission, our goal and our values have shaped this company and enabled us to continue providing quality software with unwavering customer focus. To ensure this, our main focus is to help clients increase revenues and asset values while reducing costs and risk. Energy solutions, coworking management, and a full asset management suite were presented as ways to help achieve those goals.

Classes at YASC

At YASC 2019, there were over 50+ classes where local and International Yardi trainers provided insights into the all new Yardi Elevate Suite, an operational performance solution that includes in-depth operations data, deal management, market insight, predictive insights, budgeting, business intelligence and revenue forecasting. The product builds on the proven Deal Manager solution and will incorporate additional new tools, including Forecast Manager, Construction Manager, Retail Manager and Facility Manager.

Clients received access to more Round Table discussions than ever before from local Yardi experts.

Introducing Coworking

Another area of focus was Yardi’s growing commitment to coworking, including the leasing of vacant space for shared and temporary workers.

Yardi’s technology enhances the shared space experience for both operators and users by bringing marketing, accounting, billing, reservations, member services, voice services, data and Wi-Fi together in one fully integrated platform. This is an exciting solution that will no doubt add tremendous value to Australian and New Zealand clients in the years to come.

With so many new and exciting directions for the company – which now has more than 6,000 employees worldwide –Yardi maintains its commitment to listening to and responding its clients’ software needs.

Party Time!

The annual YASC event was great for client education, networking, exposure to new products, and more. With opportunity for tailored support and on site live Product demonstrations in Knowledge Central throughout the conference, as well as a Yardi Party on Tuesday night to make sure guests were having a blast in Hawaiian Paradise, and able to kick back and relax at the all new modern Yardi coworking space – 2019 provided Yardi clients with the biggest conference yet.

See you in 2020!

In 2020, YASC will be home at the Hilton Sydney, an all-new state of the art modern conference venue. With more classes, trainers, round table topics and the biggest Cocktail party venue YASC ANZ has ever had, the 2020 conference is expected to be the largest conference Sydney has had yet. The Yardi Australia and New Zealand team are currently working extremely hard to ensure YASC keeps growing and we promise for 2020’s event to be the most incredible YASC event to hit the region.

Stay tuned as event details will be released in early 2020 to Yardi clients.
