Yardi x UKO: A New Standard in Build to Rent Proptech Excellence

UKO operates the largest portfolio of multifamily properties in Australia, with a strong focus on both build to rent and co-living. Active in the country’s trendiest inner-city suburbs, the company partners with leading developers, institutional investors and family offices to deliver projects from early design and feasibility through to stabilisation and exit.

The Challenge & Solution

As UKO expanded, managing a growing portfolio of BTR and co-living apartments became increasingly complex. The company needed a centralised property management system to handle its increasing number of apartments, while ensuring seamless scalability and high operational efficiency. Furthermore, while they had a website showcasing their properties, it lacked a critical feature – the ability for prospects to book or apply online.

To address these challenges, UKO implemented solutions from Yardi’s Residential Suite, including RentCafe for marketing websites and the resident app and portal, allowing the company to effectively manage its expanding portfolio. Initially starting with a smaller unit count, UKO has now grown to approximately 1,750 apartments.
