Electronic certification of affordable and public housing residents is made easier

SANTA BARBARA, CALIF., April 16, 2012– Yardi today announced the addition of HUD 50059 compliance to the new Yardi Beacon™ software solution. Key features include an easy IMAX transmission process compliant with TRACS 202C, a HUD compliant waitlist, a HUD 50059 form and a HUD 52670 HAP Voucher request. Other new features include HUD special claims worksheets, a HUD 93104 excess income report for Section 236 properties, automated gross rent changes, automated utility reimbursement payment process, and a full featured letter writer program with customizable recertification letter and HUD model leases.

Affordable housing owners and managers and public housing authorities are required to certify residents for compliance electronically, which can be a complex process. The presence of HUD 50059 in Yardi Beacon makes this process easy and complements current compliance solutions that include Section 42, Low Income Housing Tax Credit, HOME, HUD 50058 for Public Housing and Housing Choice Vouchers.
