Property management company raises rents and reduces vacancy loss
SANTA BARBARA, Calif., July 14, 2016 —Dallas-based Tonti Properties has adopted Yardi RENTmaximizer™ to increase rental income and reduce vacancy loss. Yardi RENTmaximizer is a responsive revenue management system built into the Yardi Voyager® platform.
According to Torry Briley, corporate revenue manager for Tonti Properties, “With RENTmaximizer, we’re seeing an overall 2-3% over market increase in rental income. And at one challenging property outside Washington, D.C., we’re recouping vacancy loss with smarter pricing.”
RENTmaximizer also provides analytics that helps the Tonti Properties team quickly make informed decisions.
Briley continued, “As a former accountant I like having the ability to look at real-time data to make predictions. With RENTmaximizer I don’t need to create spreadsheets anymore — all the information is right there.”
“For companies that deal with both volatile and stable markets, RENTmaximizer is a flexible system with the ability to ensure improvement in occupancy and revenue under any market conditions. It’s capability to allow a property to benchmark against its own history as well as comparable properties is unique in the marketplace,” said Terri Dowen, senior vice president of sales for Yardi.
