Mountain Elk Ridge Apartments adopts Yardi Genesis²


New property management platform gives Wyoming apartment community accounting support and online resident services

SANTA BARBARA, CALIF., Feb. 2, 2016 – Seeking efficiency and the convenience of online resident services, Mountain Elk Ridge Apartments is improving its property management and accounting capabilities and extending online services to residents with Yardi Genesis²™.

Yardi Genesis² is a mobile Software as a Service platform for owners and managers of small to mid-sized residential and commercial real estate portfolios.

“Our previous system was error-prone, lacked support and couldn’t keep our ledger updated. Yardi® was more thorough than any other provider in explaining our options and showing how Genesis² could meet our needs,” said Amber Higgins, property manager for Mountain Elk Ridge Apartments.

Mountain Elk Ridge Apartments also took steps to increase resident satisfaction by implementing two additional new products. One of them is RentCafe®, a full online leasing and resident services solution that includes property marketing, a prospect portal and a resident portal. The other, Yardi Payment Processing™, allows Mountain Elk Ridge Apartments’ residents to make payments for rent and other expenses online in RentCafe.

“RentCafe and Payment Processing will help us achieve our main goal of allowing our residents the convenience of paying with a credit card,” Higgins said.
