This is Yardi\u2019s fifth Digie in eight years.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Realcomm recently announced the winners of the 2013 Commercial Real Estate Digital Innovation Awards<\/a> (AKA the \u201cDigies\u201d), including an award for Best Real Estate Technology Innovation, which was won by Yardi\u2019s Commercial Leasing Pad. Additionally, numerous Yardi clients using the company\u2019s products to automate and improve their companies\u2019 digital efficiency were honored.<\/p>\n

This year, one of the main Digie categories was Best Use of Automation, described by Realcomm as \u201cfor companies that have significantly automated traditional business processes or impacted their industry segments.\u201d<\/p>\n

Yardi Commercial Leasing Pad<\/a> is a trendsetter when it comes to use of mobile solutions for the property management industry. Realcomm singled out the application as an \u201cintuitive mobile tool for managing the lead to lease process,\u201d noting that it \u201ctakes advantage of full integration with Orion and the Voyager platform.\u201d<\/p>\n

Leasing professionals are able to use Commercial Leasing Pad to aid them in the leasing process anywhere, whether touring a building with a prospect or meeting with them over lunch down the street. Real-time data<\/a> is provided from Yardi Voyager, meaning agents are never without the information they need to answer a question or make a sale. This is Yardi\u2019s fifth Digie in eight years, following citations in 2005, 2008, 2009 and 2012.<\/p>\n

In addition to Leasing Pad\u2019s Digie Award, numerous other Yardi clients, and one consultant were recognized by Realcomm for their automation efforts, digital impact and intelligent building development.<\/p>\n

Among the projects honored for Best Use of Automation, Commercial Real Estate was Prologis<\/strong>\u2019 consolidation of its entire portfolio of 4,000 properties into single technology platform, using Yardi.<\/p>\n

The effort was deemed \u201ca real home run\u201d by Prologis Chief Financial Officer William E. Sullivan in the company\u2019s Q1 2012 earnings call.<\/p>\n

\u201cConsistent with our plan, we completed the first of 3 milestones and are well on our way to creating a world-class information management platform. The new Yardi 7.0 system, implemented effective April 1, harmonizes our operating data and allows for the entire company to be on one instance of Yardi. It eliminates manual reconciliation. And our access to global operating property info on a realtime basis is fabulous. Finally, our field teams are ecstatic with the usability of the new system. The effort spanned three continents, streamlined multiple versions of Voyager software onto one real estate management platform (Voyager 7.0), involved a massive data conversion effort, and included several dozen interfaces with third-party products. Over 500 Prologis employees from around the globe were trained by members of the Yardi Systems PSG team. Training of Prologis staff took place in Denver, Amsterdam and Tokyo.<\/p>\n

CBRE<\/b> – Best Use of Automation – Commercial Services<\/p>\n

CBRE was singled out for their commitment to executive innovation and automation, creating and practicing an integrated global ERP platform, and creating a Chief Innovation Officer to drive the company ahead in technology and business practices.<\/p>\n

Jones Lange LaSalle<\/b> – Best Use of Automation – Facility Management<\/p>\n

Jones Lange LaSalle was honored for their development of the Aix business intelligence platform and IntelliCommand solution, both of which deal with facility monitoring and management.<\/p>\n

Craig Cuyar\u2013<\/b> Cushman & Wakefield – Commercial Real Estate – Digital Impact Award<\/p>\n

Cuyar, a consultant, is known to be a thought leader and information sharer in the industry. Realcomm described him as \u201can active liaison between supply side and end-users for the betterment of the commercial real estate industry.\u201d<\/p>\n

Convesso Concavo<\/b> \u2013 run by Lend Lease – <\/b>Most Intelligent Building – <\/b>Multi-Family<\/p>\n

Convesso\u2019s management company, Lend Lease, an Australian firm, is a Yardi client. The Convesso Concavo is known for its smart building features, which include: in home displays of data on energy and water consumption, energy efficient lighting and appliances, efficient water fixtures and fittings and more.<\/p>\n
