You can also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yardi.com\/resources\/yasc-multifamily-spotlight-2026\">watch the full multifamily spotlight session from YASC<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-more-visibility-from-first-tour-to-move-in\">More visibility from first tour to move-in<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Tour performance dashboard:<\/strong> shows tour conversion rates, reasons for cancellations and which times of day convert best<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>AI call scoring:<\/strong> every call gets scored automatically against your own criteria, so managers know how each agent is performing without listening to a single recording<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Leasing Quickview and move-in checklist integration:<\/strong> see where every applicant stands and what still needs to happen before move-in without leaving your screen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Call Coach:<\/strong> live guidance based on property questions tells agents what to cover next, while the guest card populates (coming soon)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>CRM IQ gives leasing teams visibility into the customer journey, from tour performance through move-in readiness. The Leasing Quickview and enhanced checklist put key leasing information in one place, which makes it easier to get your residents moved in. Soon, the rest of the move-in checklist will be added, so teams can see which tasks a new resident has completed, which still need attention and where most residents stall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the tour side, the new tour performance dashboard, available in the latest release, shows how tours convert, why they\u2019re canceled and which times of day convert best. With these insights, teams can use those patterns to refine how and when tours are scheduled to maximize conversions and close possible gaps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AI call scoring now allows customization of the questions and sections used to evaluate prospect calls, so scores reflect property-specific priorities. A future release is planned to extend scoring to applicant calls and to resident conversations about payments, maintenance and renewals. Call Coach is also in the works, a planned tool that would provide live transcription and real-time guidance during calls, helping agents stay focused on the conversation while still capturing guest card details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-simpler-accounting-amp-administration\">Simpler accounting &amp; administration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Security Hub<\/strong>:<strong> <\/strong>One place to manage users, groups and permissions, including bulk changes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>AI-assisted report builder<\/strong>: Request, adjust and run the reports you need, all in plain language<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Period Close dashboard<\/strong>: Guided month-end workflows<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Bank Sync dashboard<\/strong>: Bank data beside yourgeneral ledger without switching to a separate portal<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Voyager 8 is expanding its tools for accounting and administrative teams. Security Hub brings user, group and permission management into one place, including options to make changes in bulk. An AI-assisted report builder lets users request a report in plain language, run it, adjust it and ask Virtuoso to summarize the results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Two new dashboards support recurring processes. The Period Close dashboard uses configurable workflows to guide teams through tasks and trigger notifications or other actions. The Bank Sync dashboard uses secure bank connectivity to show bank account information alongside general ledger data for comparison. Together, these tools give teams a clearer view of work that often spans multiple screens and people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-easier-fee-set-up-amp-clearer-pricing\">Easier fee set up &amp; clearer pricing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Charge &amp; fee setup<\/strong>: Similar charges grouped across unit types<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Automated deposits<\/strong>: Security deposits based on screening score tiers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Step charges<\/strong>: Tiered pricing for pets or vehicles (planned)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Applicant portal cost calculator<\/strong>: Pricing visibility through the application<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Yardi is simplifying how operators set up fees and communicate costs to renters. On the unit and pricing dashboard, charge and fee setup now groups similar charges together, making it easier to configure fees across unit types. Publishing and sync improvements carry that information to RentCafe websites and connected listing channels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Charges are also more automated. Calculated charges can use configured screening score tiers to determine a security deposit and create the corresponding lease charge, and planned step charges will support tiered pricing based on selections such as pets or vehicles. These updates will reduce manual work as an application moves toward a lease, while giving operators more control over how charges are configured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The renter experience is evolving too. The applicant portal now includes a cost calculator, extending pricing visibility from the property website into the application process. Other updates include a clearer display of specials, an option for prospects to email themselves a cost breakdown and a customizable fee guide widget. When fee information is consistent across websites, applicant experiences and AI conversations, prospects can better understand what they\u2019ll pay as they move through the leasing journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-smarter-maintenance-workflows-from-intake-to-inspection\">Smarter maintenance workflows from intake to inspection<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Yardi Maintenance app<\/strong>: Rebuilt around a technician\u2019s day, with AI that creates work orders and populates details from a photo<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>AI work order triage<\/strong>: Requests get categorized and routed with the right priority based on the issue<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Emergency escalation<\/strong>: On-call technicians contacted automatically until someone responds<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>AI video inspections<\/strong>: Narrated walkthroughs become inspection reports and work orders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Maintenance IQ is bringing AI into work orders, inspections and emergency response, as Yardi completely rebuilt the Yardi Maintenance app, designing it around a technician\u2019s day. Its work order experience puts the current job, photos, notes and time entry close at hand. When the tech attaches a photo during work order creation, AI creates the work order and automatically writes the description, sets the category and assigns the priority so technicians spend less time on data entry and more time on the job. Updated standard inspections combine observations and ratings into a simpler process and show related work orders before an inspection is finalized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Work order triageis designed to read a resident\u2019s request and photos, categorize and prioritize the issue, then create and route the work order with the right priority based on the issue type. For an emergency, the system escalates the request and contacts on-call technicians until someone acknowledges it, giving teams a way to respond to urgent issues even when the office is closed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AI video inspections let an inspector record on their mobile device and narrate what they see while walking a property, unit or asset. AI analyzes the video and narration to identify issues, extract relevant images and create work orders automatically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-more-personal-relevant-prospect-follow-up\">More personal, relevant prospect follow-up<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Context-aware outreach<\/strong>: Chat IQ reviews past conversations to personalize messages based on where each prospect is in the journey<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Adaptive follow-up<\/strong>: No redundant messages after a leasing agent steps in<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Tour reminders &amp; tour-note follow-up<\/strong>: Personalized outreach informed by tour activity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Human handoff<\/strong>: Unanswered questions flagged for your team, with free 24\/7 Yardi call center backup for voice calls<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Chat IQ uses the information in CRM IQ to guide prospect conversations and follow-ups across chat, text, email and voice. If a leasing agent has already handled the next step, Chat IQ can adjust its planned follow-up rather than send a redundant message.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chat IQ also supports the tour experience with automated tour reminders and follow-up informed by tour notes. Voice improvements for maintenance request triage help residents report issues more smoothly. If Chat IQ gets a question it can\u2019t answer, it flags the question for your team to handle and can add the topic to your Knowledge Base for review. Every conversation is recorded on the guest card in CRM IQ, so staff have context when they step in. No matter when a call comes in, a person is available.
