That&#8217;s time staff now spend in conversations with residents and families \u2014 not behind closed doors doing data entry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The same shift shows up in Senior Resource Group communities. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yardi.com\/blog\/senior-resource-group-success\/\">Sara Padilla, VP of health services at Senior Resource Group<\/a>, remembers when caregivers had to leave residents mid-interaction to walk to an office and look up paper-based service plans. Now they carry tablets. They&#8217;ll even know whether mom made it to her scheduled haircut that week. For family members who live far away, those small confirmations carry a lot of weight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yardi.com\/blog\/12-oaks-senior-living\/\">Elliott Westerman, CFO of 12 Oaks Senior Living<\/a>, sees a parallel story on the ownership side. As a third-party manager working with ownership groups that have varying levels of financial expertise, 12 Oaks uses consistent, connected reporting to give every stakeholder a clear and shared picture of performance. When the data is reliable and accessible, conversations become more productive. When Westerman&#8217;s team brings on a new ownership group or community, they can point to the systems, reporting standards and communication workflows already in place.
