Back by popular demand after a successful 2024 event, YASC<\/a> Canada 2025<\/strong> returned to The Westin Harbour Castle with even greater momentum. The energy was palpable as more than 1,100 real estate professionals gathered for the General Session, hosted by Peter Altobelli<\/strong>, vice president and general manager of Yardi. The session marked the start of Yardi\u2019s fifth decade and the beginning of a new voyage powered by innovation, intelligence and insight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Voyager 8 is here<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Altobelli shared how Yardi<\/a> has grown alongside the industry for more than 25 years, from early days of MS-DOS prompts to today\u2019s immersive, data-driven dashboards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe grow with the industry,\u201d said Altobelli. \u201cVoyager 8 is built to connect every part of property management. It\u2019s intuitive to learn and simple to enable. With new tools, features and built-in AI, upgrading isn\u2019t just seamless, it\u2019s an opportunity to prepare for what\u2019s next.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Peter noted that Yardi\u2019s evolution mirrors that of its clients: expanding into new markets such as self storage, office occupier and coworking while remaining committed to the partnerships that built the company\u2019s foundation. He also introduced the leadership guiding this next chapter, with Anant Yardi<\/strong> as chairman and Rob Teel<\/strong> as CEO, assuring clients that Yardi\u2019s core values remain constant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then came one of the morning\u2019s biggest announcements: to help Canadian businesses meet their evolving needs, YASC Canada will move to May 13\u201315, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are in the early adoption phase for Voyager 8, and 2026 might be the biggest year of technical advancement in Yardi\u2019s 40-year history,\u201d Altobelli shared. \u201cIt\u2019s an exciting time. Voyager 8 has been tested and refined in the U.S. for more than two years, and it\u2019s now ready for Canada. Take advantage of this moment, start planning your migration and be ready. Next year\u2019s YASC will focus on Voyager 8 training, knowledge and the tools to bring back to your companies.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stepping on stage, Teel reinforced that the journey ahead is guided by the same principles that have shaped the company since day one: service, integrity and innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe experience begins with Voyager 8, and the future is powered by the combination of AI and human intelligence,\u201d Teel said. \u201cGrowth doesn\u2019t just happen, it\u2019s planned, orchestrated and guided by a shared vision of long-term value for clients, employees and communities.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teel noted that Yardi\u2019s continued success comes from the trust built with clients and the shared commitment to progress. AI built in & built out<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Akshai Rao<\/strong>, president of Yardi, closed the session by unveiling how artificial intelligence is reshaping daily operations across Yardi platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAI isn\u2019t about replacing people, it\u2019s about understanding how to use it for guidance, from reporting to communication and beyond,\u201d said Rao, president of Yardi. \u201cYour workflows won\u2019t change, they\u2019ll simply happen with less manual effort and less human intervention.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
