When we talk to Yardi clients about ways to improve their real estate-based businesses, and how technology can help, they never fail to mention the desire for new mobile applications that will let employees work more efficiently and businesses run more smoothly. Mobile technology has transformed how we run our personal lives. Shouldn\u2019t it change our businesses, too?<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s a quick users guide to the various mobile apps now available from Yardi Systems<\/a>:<\/p>\n

\"leasing<\/a>Leasing Pad<\/a> – If you are anxious to use Yardi Voyager in a tablet-optimized environment, then Leasing Pad is for you. Users will be able to access contact, lead, lease, resident, and property data in Voyager using Leasing Pad, so leasing agents and managers can work on the go or anywhere on the property using a tablet device. \u00a0Leasing Pad also offers the full functionality of the Yardi PopCard CRM, property marketing portals, and online leasing.\u00a0 Access Voyager dashboards with leasing and operations info, as well as residential analytics, all from your iPad or tablet. Leasing Pad is browser agnostic.<\/p>\n

Yardi CRM Mobile<\/a> \u2013 During the leasing process, every day a unit sits empty costs you money. Yardi CRM Mobile will help streamline leasing by automating the process. Prospect and customer contact information and history are tracked in Voyager and synced with Outlook throughout the leasing process, from first contact to final signing. Access to crucial data is always within reach when it is on the mobile device that never leaves your side. Lease abstracts can also be run from Yardi CRM Mobile, available for iPhone and iPad.<\/p>\n

Yardi Inspection Mobile<\/a> \u2013 When you\u2019re in the field inspecting properties, the last thing you want to do is haul around a bulky laptop. Yardi\u2019s app solution for Inspection with Mobile makes this process easy to do on your phone or tablet. Available for Apple, Android and Blackberry, inspection checklists and ratings forms are customizable, so you create the criteria fields required. \u00a0The inspector can document unit conditions with photos and voice memos created via smartphone. When the inspection is complete, tenants can sign the inspection report on the mobile device screen, and all of the recorded data is synced to Voyager.<\/p>\n

When it comes time for maintenance, Yardi Maintenance Mobile<\/a> is the on-the-go way for maintenance technicians to track and respond to maintenance work orders. \u00a0The app (available for iPhone and iPad, Android phones and tablets and Blackberry), allows technician to record notes about the job performed, time of completion, follow-up work required, and share the service record in Voyager. The can also submit requests for additional materials or supplies.<\/p>\n

PAYplus Mobile<\/a> and PAYscan Mobile<\/a>– <\/strong>Yardi PAYscan Mobile allows users to easy search and approve purchase orders and invoices.\u00a0 Yardi PAYplus Mobile is an invoice coding and approval system. The app enables you to quickly approve invoices, view, email, and air print invoice images and view invoice fields. Both PAYplus Mobile and PAYscan Mobile are available for Apple and Android devices.<\/p>\n

\"HudHomestore<\/a>HUD Homestore Mobile Search<\/a> is an app that allows users to search thousands of homes for sale from the Department of Housing and Urban Development. \u00a0The HUDHomestore Mobile Search app makes it easy to search for houses around the nation on\u00a0HUDHomestore.com, the clearing house for government-owned foreclosures, from an iPhone or iPad. You can search by street, city, state, or ZIP code.<\/p>\n

Apartment Search by <\/a>RENT<\/a>Caf\u00e9<\/em><\/a><\/em>\u00a0 \u2013 Looking for a new place? It\u2019s easy to search the thousands of listings available from\u00a0RentCafe with the Apartment Search app. See photos, floor plans, and listing details. For property managers, prospect information will be recorded in Voyager for follow-up contact.\u00a0 Available for iPhone.<\/p>\n

RentCafe Resident<\/a> \u2013 Residents can pay their rent, review charges and submit apartment maintenance requests using the RentCafe Resident app for iPhone. Properties utilizing RentCafe Resident Portals can offer this convenient and helpful mobile solution to their residents.<\/p>\n
