You got to make it fun, says Nicole Moberg, chief sales officer for Thrive Senior Living.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-23251\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yardi.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/11\/thrive5-300x177.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"177\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Based in Atlanta, Thrive Senior Living operates more than a dozen communities across eight states and Washington D.C. Over the past decade, they\u2019ve worked to redefine what senior living stands for, and they\u2019ve dedicated themselves to building meaningful relationships with their residents.<\/p>\n<p>Nicole recently spoke about her team\u2019s experience with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yardi.com\/products\/senior-living-crm\/\">Yardi Senior CRM<\/a>. They\u2019ve been using the solution to attract, nurture and convert leads in creative ways. Part of their approach includes a daily event they call \u201cParty With Yardi.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-23248\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yardi.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/11\/thrive2-300x254.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"254\" \/>Now, I know what you\u2019re thinking. Drinks and dancing are the key to more move-ins? Not quite.<\/p>\n<p>For Thrive, Party With Yardi is just a fun, tongue-in-cheek moniker that lets the sales team know it\u2019s time to sign in to Yardi and get down to business. It\u2019s when sales team members prospect and follow-up with leads, which keeps the team on task and Senior CRM up to date.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe protect the hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and our sales team does time blocking every day,\u201d said Nicole. \u201cThe whole community knows during those hours, you\u2019re in Yardi following up on prospects. We even hang something up on our doors so everyone knows that is a time of no interruption.\u201d<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-23250\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yardi.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/11\/thrive4-297x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"297\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Thrive has also developed its own creative follow-up cadence to boost numbers. \u201cIt was built by \u2018those closest to the work,\u2019 the high-performing sales team members,\u201d said Nicole. \u201cThe team follows this and enters their info in Yardi.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Once a sales team member has keyed in what they\u2019ve done with a lead, they\u2019re not finished just yet. Senior CRM won\u2019t let them move on or close out the record until they\u2019ve planned another action, communication or activity \u2013 a feature for following up that Nicole appreciates. \u201cThat was a core CRM requirement for me, because you always need a next step,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-23249\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yardi.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/11\/thrive3-300x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/>On the leadership side, the real-time information gives Nicole a clearer view into the business. She doesn\u2019t have to wait to figure out what\u2019s going on with a particular community or prospect, because she can go right in and see it. Senior CRM has a full range of analytics that Nicole runs, including move-ins and move-outs, tours, lead scores and source types.<\/p>\n<p>Nicole also has her sales team pull their data themselves and submit weekly reports. She calls it \u201cintentional visibility,\u201d and it\u2019s a way of strengthening accountability across the team.
