Cody Costello, consultant, consulting practices, received the VP Award at our most recent event.<\/p>\n
Tamara J. Berndt, vice president, residential, consulting practices at Yardi, works closely with Costello. She has seen him assist many of the company\u2019s complex clients.<\/p>\n
During customer service week, the team received an extraordinary kudos from a client stating that \u201cCody was the best account manager [she has] ever had.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThat is high praise from a client that has been using the Yardi suite of products for more than 15 years,\u201d reflect Berndt. \u201cI never have to worry about Cody\u2019s clients. He just takes care of business.\u00a0He does it with a calm and professional manner that instills confidence and gets the job done!\u201d<\/p>\n
Berndt continues, \u201cCody does a great job taking care of his clients. He is helpful towards his colleagues.\u00a0Cody embodies the \u2018whatever it takes\u2019 attitude of the services department.\u201d<\/p>\n
We caught up with Costello to learn more about the man behind the VP Award honor.<\/p>\n
TBS: What does it mean to you to receive the VP award?<\/strong><\/p>\n Costello: I think this means I might actually be kind of good at this job! I think it\u2019s easy to get caught up in the now without looking back to see how far I\u2019ve really come since I first started here.<\/p>\n TBS: What do you enjoy most about working at Yardi?<\/strong><\/p>\n Costello: There are so many things I enjoy, from the challenging and diverse work to the wonderful employees. If I absolutely had to pick one thing, I think it would be the freedom that is given on how to best complete my work and accomplish my goals. I\u2019m given all of the tools and guidance I want along with the agency to chart my own course.<\/p>\n TBS: Outside of work, what are your hobbies and interests?<\/strong><\/p>\n Costello: I never managed to kick my video game habit so that takes some of my time.
