PathPoint<\/a> has awarded Yardi a Community Partnership Award\"\"<\/a> in recognition of the company\u2019s 10 years of support for PathPoint\u2019s programs for adults with disabilities in Santa Barbara.<\/p>\n

\u201cYardi\u2019s generous grants over the past decade have enabled us to bring the latest assistive technology and resources to individuals with disabilities\u2014helping them communicate with their families, access Internet resources, and engage with the world,\u201d said Harry Bruell, PathPoint\u2019s president and CEO.\u00a0 \u201cThe difference this has made for these individuals and their families is life-changing.\u201d<\/p>\n

PathPoint is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing services to people with disabilities or disadvantages in order to reach their fullest potential.<\/p>\n

PathPoint provides employment, community access, independent living, and behavioral health services in five Central Coast and Southern California counties: Kern, Los Angeles, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have a long history of giving back to communities all over the world,\u201d said Gordon Morrell, Yardi\u2019s executive vice president. \u201cWe\u2019re honored to partner with PathPoint to help improve the lives of our fellow community members.\u201d<\/p>\n

At the awards ceremony in December, PathPoint presented Yardi with an original abstract painting by Elizabeth Blasenstein, a participant in PathPoint\u2019s Community Integration Program. The integration program is one of the many ways PathPoint supports adults with disabilities with stimulating activities, social interaction, and vocational training.<\/p>\n

Yardi grants have also supported staff training, adaptive art supplies, sensory stimulation equipment, and facility maintenance and upkeep; all vital parts of nurturing a path to integration for individuals with disabilities into our community.<\/p>\n
