On the outside, Holly Angel leads a normal life: full-time consultant and project manager at Yardi, mother of two girls, PTA mom, and recreational soccer player. But when it comes to the Yardi clients that she works with daily, Angel lives up to her last name on a regular basis.<\/p>\n

During CSD Appreciation Week, Angel took home two awards, the Directors Award and the MacGyver award. She was nominated by fellow Yardi employees.<\/p>\n

MacGyver Award<\/strong><\/p>\n

Remember the television show \u201cMacGyver?\u201d IMDB describes it as \u201cthe adventures of a secret agent armed with almost infinite scientific resourcefulness.\u201d One generation remembers it as hunky Richard Dean Anderson with duct tape and a Swiss army knife. It\u2019s now being rediscovered by a new cohort of viewers on CBS, with Lucas Till in the starring role.<\/p>\n

In her two years with the company, Angel has proven to be both resourceful and supportive of her peers.<\/p>\n

Angel was honored to receive the MacGyver award. \u201cStarting from a Technical Account Manager and moving in to the Consultant role, I am constantly given a variety of issues from our clients, challenging me to use my personal knowledge and the resources around me to find the solution that will work for the client,\u201d she says.\u00a0\u201cThis award is given to me by my peers and I am honored to be thought of so highly by those that I work with daily.\u201d<\/p>\n

Directors Award<\/strong><\/p>\n

Angel assists Yardi clients on the West Coast with projects such as software upgrades, ancillary product rollouts, and best practice reviews. With each interaction, Angel has demonstrated Director-quality character.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is one of the highest awards that can be given as it is given by the Director of our Division,\u201d explains Angel. \u201cI am honored that I was chosen as it reflects the dedication, hard work and success that I\u2019ve had with the numerous projects for our key clients.\u201d<\/p>\n

Angel believes that Yardi has provided a workplace environment that nurtures her growth as a leader and teammate.<\/p>\n

\u201cYardi nurtures a teamwork atmosphere where many different departments and employees work together on a regular basis to support our clients.\u00a0 Within this environment, the opportunity to step up in a leadership role is open to anyone who is interested and at any level.\u00a0 As a project manager, I find myself enjoying mentoring the newer employees, guiding our clients during implementations and upgrades, and taking on more challenging roles as I continue to grow in mine,\u201d says Angel.<\/p>\n
