In summer 2016 Yardi introduced a collaboration with payment processing solutions provider BluePay<\/a> to enable electronic rent payments in Canada that make the lives of property managers easier (and funds flow faster), and soon MasterCard credit card payments will be another convenient option.<\/p>\n

Peter Altobelli, vice president of sales and general manager for Yardi Canada, commented, \u201cThis collaboration joins Yardi\u2019s property management solutions with BluePay\u2019s experience in processing billions of dollars of transactions annually for thousands of organizations. Working together represents a giant step toward making electronic payments the secure, efficient rent payment method of choice in Canada.\u201d<\/p>\n

And while serving their customers better than ever, Yardi Canada has enjoyed collaborating with their U.S.-based Yardi Payment Processing team members. Working together to create not only a superior product offering but also a stronger team has been a truly positive experience.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s the experience that Rosa Mota, a technical account manager on the Payment Processing implementation team, has happily shared. Rosa elaborated, \u201cI\u2019ve been assigned to help the cash management team in Canada get up to speed on the exciting developments with Payment Processing. Our electronic payments collaboration with BluePay eliminates the lengthy process our clients used to endure to receive their monthly rent payments. Now they get their funds within hours. I spent two weeks in the Toronto office working to build implementation documentation, and showing product demos.\u201d Rosa also completed a client implementation while in Toronto, which afforded a valuable hands-on experience for the account manager.<\/p>\n

Culture of Camaraderie<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yardi Canada includes three locations in Toronto, Saskatoon and Vancouver, each with different areas of product and customer service focus. There are close to 300 Canadians currently employed under Yardi Canada.<\/p>\n

The Toronto office includes a staff of 180 people. They describe themselves as being \u201cvery tightly knit\u201d in a collaborative culture fostered by Altobelli. Bringing new products to the market and staying connected with clients is always a top priority. The payment processing team in Toronto is led by Lynn Topp, director of CSD and Shuaib Halimi, senior team leader. Sharing knowledge and client experiences with members of the U.S. team is always a highlight \u2014 as with Rosa Mota\u2019s recent visit.<\/p>\n

Rosa added, \u201cI really enjoyed meeting Peter Altobelli and getting to know the other wonderful Yardi Canada teams including Voyager Condo, CondoCafe, RentCafe, Yardi Genesis2<\/sup> and the awesome professional services group.\u201d<\/p>\n
