Pam Morrison is a longtime employee and leader at RentGrow<\/a>, a Yardi subsidiary in Waltham, Mass., who has great passion for her work as RentGrow’s manager of business analytics. She\u2019s an expert on creating custom reports for clients and is excited about further integration of Yardi\u2019s new business intelligence offerings, especially Yardi Orion for Sharepoint<\/a> with RentGrow\u2019s platform.<\/p>\n

Outside of the office, Pam has the same commitment to her hometown of Chelmsford<\/a>, where she grew up and now serves as the Recording Clerk for the town\u2019s Finance Committee. She\u2019s also a dedicated volunteer for the Chelmsford Women of Today<\/a>, which supports education, service and fundraising projects on behalf of all kinds of causes and local organizations.<\/p>\n

The Chelmsford Women are a division of United States Women of Today<\/a>, which advocates leadership, personal growth and community service for by its members. Pam has recently helped make quilts for pediatric patients, urged grocery shoppers to purchase a donation for the local food bank, picked out Easter baskets for children affected by domestic violence, and bowled in a fundraiser for a battered women\u2019s shelter. (She was a collegiate bowler at the University of Massachusetts, where she studied technical communications.)<\/p>\n

The Chelmsford Women also supply the local fire and police departments with stuffed animals that they can give to children who might be affected by one of their service calls. And they purchase and deliver Mother\u2019s Day gifts to the women living in a local battered women\u2019s shelter.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been a big part of my life for many years. I\u2019m extremely involved with the community through that, and I\u2019ve made a lot of friends that I otherwise would never have met,\u201d Pam told us. A rural community of 30,000 where preserving open space is important to residents, Chelmsford sounds like a great place to live and get to know your neighbors. It\u2019s about a 45-minute drive (with traffic) from Waltham.<\/p>\n

Family is also incredibly important to Pam, who helps her brother and sister care for their mother, now in her 80s. She and her mom enjoy visiting the Pickity Place<\/a> in Mason, N.H., where a picturesque cottage built in 1786 served as the inspiration for artistic illustrations in the Little Golden Books\u2019 version of Little Red Riding Hood \u2013 and guests can now enjoy gourmet meals sourced from the cottage gardens.<\/p>\n

Pam also enjoys spending time with her five nieces and nephews and walking her dog, Chicklet, a Chihuahua. At work, she heads up the RentGrow \u201cFun Committee\u201d, which organizes neat projects and treats for the company\u2019s employees. Regular cooking contests, holiday festivities, and even giant crossword puzzles have been featured activities.<\/p>\n
