With over 8,500 units under management today, up from just 2,500 four years ago, Allsop\u2019s story is one of scale, client confidence and innovation, enabled by Yardi\u2019s Residential Suite.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-16018d1d wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/go.yardi.co.uk\/yardi-living-series\" style=\"border-radius:100px\">WATCH ALLSOP EPISODE<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-preparing-for-rapid-growth-nbsp\"><strong>Preparing for Rapid Growth<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h2>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright size-large is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/go.yardi.co.uk\/yardi-living-series\"><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>Allsop\u2019s ambitions for expansion required a scalable, future-proof infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you\u2019re going to scale a business, you need to know truly what your cost base is. You need to be able to predict that not for 3,000 units, but for 10,000 units. You need to make it so that the infrastructure that you\u2019re creating can sustain it,\u201d explained Smith.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Previously, Allsop operated with separate systems for property management, accounting and marketing \u2013 an approach that was not only fragmented but costly to maintain.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur management system was quite disparate\u2026the property management software solution and the marketing platform were separate. I wanted the two to talk,\u201d said Smith.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The reliance on multiple systems also made reporting more difficult and limited the data Allsop could provide to clients. For a business with institutional ambitions, this was a challenge Yardi was well-positioned to solve.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-building-client-trust-with-data-transparency-nbsp\"><strong>Building Client Trust with Data Transparency<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h2>\n<p>One of the most significant shifts Allsop has seen since adopting Yardi has been the confidence it provides in conversations with clients and investors.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe primary benefit really is being able to go into a room with both current and potential clients with confidence. There\u2019s an institutional acceptance of Yardi. I don\u2019t have to work very hard to explain what my system architecture is, [and] I don\u2019t have to work very hard to give them comfort,\u201d Smith shared.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Where financial reports once required significant explanation, Yardi\u2019s reporting and third-party credibility now provide a foundation of trust.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNow I can demonstrate financial reports with a third-party accreditation,\u201d because clients are confident and know Allsop can provide them with the data they require.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-enabling-a-cloud-based-flexible-business-nbsp\"><strong>Enabling a Cloud-Based, Flexible Business<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h2>\n<p>At the same time as adopting Yardi, Allsop shifted to a Microsoft 365 environment, becoming a fully cloud-based business. For a company managing both build to rent and single-family housing across different regions, this was a game-changer.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith single-family housing, you have remote property managers local to regions, not necessarily always office-based. Yardi enabled us to do that,\u201d Smith explained.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This flexibility has been crucial not only for supporting remote operations but also for embedding innovation into the business.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-driving-innovation-through-better-insights-nbsp\"><strong>Driving Innovation Through Better Insights<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h2>\n<p>Coming from an asset management background, Smith placed a strong emphasis on data. With Yardi, Allsop can now drill down into performance at every level.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want to see data. I want to be able to analyse and assess what\u2019s going on right now and judge things almost down to the unit level or looking at the demographic tag,\u201d he said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Yardi\u2019s flexibility has enabled Allsop to create a unique selling proposition (USP) for its business, helping deliver both exceptional customer service and the robust data insights clients demand.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith the flexibility that Yardi [provides] has enabled us to create a USP for our business now.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Allsop\u2019s journey reflects the power of combining reputation and service with the right technology.
