New data service leverages the open Voyager system to publish third party commercial information

SANTA BARBARA, Calif., June 15, 2016 – As part of its strategy for allowing clients to use third party software products with Yardi Voyager, Yardi® announced it has added a new commercial interface for owners and operators of commercial properties.

The new data service is part of Yardi’s Standard Interface Partnership Program (SIPP). SIPP uses a modern, service-oriented architecture that is used by hundreds of Yardi clients and vendors for integration with Voyager’s most widely used processes and transactions. The new commercial interface, built on the OSCRE standard with Yardi-specific extensions, expands existing services geared towards financial transactions and facilities management by publishing commercial property, unit and tenant data.

“While we believe that Yardi’s single stack solution gives real estate owners and operators a full business solution, we realize that some clients choose to engage other software providers for ancillary processes. SIPP gives them the tools to exchange information between Voyager and their applications quickly and easily,” said Rob Teel, senior vice president of global solutions for Yardi.

In addition to SIPP, Yardi supplements the open Voyager platform with its ETL tool, which provides table and field level access, to make nearly every major data element available for import or export. “It is an open methodology that ensures the validity and integrity of data that is transferred between databases,” added Teel.
