As part of the Yardi Voyager leasing workflow, Grubb’s applicants are compliantly screened with ScreeningWorks Pro, and qualified renters are automatically selected based on the criteria set for each property.

According to Lawrie Myers, training manager for Grubb, fine-tuning criteria with the expert support of the ScreeningWorks Pro team has resulted in more leases signed. Grubb is very pleased with that result, and Myers said it would not have happened with non-integrated or manual applicant screening.

Further, Voyager integration has enabled Grubb to achieve a complete online process for property marketing, leasing and resident services — including rent payments and maintenance requests. Iris Esguerra, Yardi project manager and business analyst for Grubb, reported that using RENTCafé for online applications and resident services has greatly improved Grubb’s payment collection.
