Yardi provides Software as a Service (SaaS) for its latest software platforms, so that our clients can benefit from an easier, best practices based deployment and not worry about managing applications or maintaining an IT network. SaaS allows you to optimize your Yardi platform with painless upgrades, a pre-configured setup, a secure IT infrastructure, 24/7 accessibility, full business continuity, and ten secure data centers worldwide – all while reducing your overhead and capital costs.
The latest Yardi platforms are provided as Software as a Service, and clients have the following SaaS options:
SaaS
Clients share the application but have their own database. Yardi will manage service packs, plug-ins and new versions, which means that clients do not have to be concerned with performing upgrades. Each SaaS client benefits from its own secure database that is configured based on best practices. Each client still retains the ability to tailor and customize Voyager features to meet its individual needs. Unlimited application support is also provided with the SaaS option (using SPOC), and there are no startup fees.
SaaS Select
Clients have their own installation of the application and their own database. This offers each client the ability to control its own versions and upgrades. Clients can choose if and when to upgrade, adopt new releases, and install plug-ins and hot fixes. While SaaS is provided solely in Yardi’s General Cloud, SaaS Select is available in either a General Cloud or in a Private Cloud:
General Cloud: With this deployment option, we will host the software for you and install and maintain releases, plug-ins, and hot fixes at your discretion. This is most similar to our former ASP model.
Private Cloud: With this deployment option, clients have their own network, Voyager program and database. This is done with a vLAN (virtual LAN) and includes Active Directory synchronization. This option will also allow clients to load non-Yardi applications into their Private Cloud. It provides state of the art hardware and networking solutions with 24/7 service, and it is competitively priced.
Both SaaS and SaaS Select are fully SSAE 16 (formerly SAS 70) compliant and allow clients to continue to create and maintain custom tables and reports, and standard interfaces.
