Leading Pacific Northwest property management firm adds ResidentShield renters insurance to their Yardi Voyager platform to protect their communities and residents
SANTA BARBARA, CALIF., Sept. 08, 2015 — Yardi announced today that Sumner, Washington-based Tarragon Property Services has added ResidentShield® Protection Plan™ to its Yardi Voyager® cloud-hosted property management and accounting platform to implement a required renters insurance program at their properties and improve compliance reporting for their multifamily communities.
Following a few resident-caused losses including kitchen fires and damage to sprinklers struck by resident vehicles, Tarragon decided to adopt a required renters insurance program to mitigate ongoing property risk. They chose ResidentShield because it seamlessly integrates with their core Yardi Voyager system and provides program compliance reporting at the property level. It also offers two convenient coverage options for residents, including a default option that Tarragon automatically applies.
